1 Way Ticket photo exhibition The vernissage will take place on June 1 between 17:00 – 20:00 The exhibition will then run from June 1 to June 30. The exhibited photos belong to a series of landscapes of Sweden and all around the world called 1 Way Ticket.
About 1 Way Ticket (artist statement): I left Mexico 2006 with a one way ticket in my hand, not knowing when (or if) I would go back. I went to England to study a Master of Arts in Visual Communications, and during my studies, I developed an artistic idea of departure with indefinite duration, which later became the topic of my MA Thesis. I have carefully nurtured this concept over the years, and I call this art of departure 1 Way Ticket. 1 Way Ticket is the art of external action – moving, migrating, and the physical experience of being alive. But it is also the internal journey, the emotional-spiritual side of life, and the coalition of these two journeys manifests through images – through MY art. The journey of exploration and its expression; that is 1 Way Ticket. With the eye of my camera lens I explore places, and in the images I capture, even if you don’t see me or anybody else, there’s always an element that expresses a feeling or an aspect of the human personality. These images are part of an external and internal journey that has no end. That will keep on evolving.

The tradition of celebrating a National Day in Sweden was born at Skansen. Artur Hazelius, the founder of Skansen, wanted to establish an annual day that would be a patriotic focus for the nation and he chose the sixth of June. Sweden’s National Day has been celebrated at Skansen every year since 1893. For many years the celebration was known as National Flag Day but the day has now been marked by a public holiday. This will be celebrated in traditional fashion: members of the royal family join a procession to Skansen where there are speeches, flag ceremony, singing, brass bands, folk music, etc., broadcast live by Swedish Television. The programme on Solliden stage is broadcasted live in the Swedish public service channel SVT.

SYMPHONIC MEMORIES Music from FINAL FANTASY and CHRONO TRIGGER/CHRONO CROSS
This year’s video game music concert with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra presents the timeless music from some of the world’s most popular Japanese roleplaying games. Welcome to an evening with several audience favourites – and a world premiere!
The music from the extensive Final Fantasy series is probably the most beloved and famous soundtrack of today. Since more than 30 years, the legendary world of Final Fantasy has stirred the imagination of people all over the world. Its musical universe comprises a rich variety of genres and expressions. Japanese Nobuo Uematsu is undoubtedly the most outstanding and well-known game music composer of today. In this concert, we will hear his suggestive and imaginative music from FINAL FANTASY VI and VIII.
The latest addition to the game series, No. 15, was released in 2016 and has a darker and more realistic atmosphere than previous games in the series. The soundtrack is composed by another of the gaming world’s major musical profiles: Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Mana, etc.). Konserthuset Stockholm will present the world premiere of an entirely new movement of her music from FINAL FANTASY XV.
The concert will also feature beloved melodies from CHRONO TRIGGER/CHRONO CROSS by Yasunori Mitsuda.
With soul-stirring orchestral arrangements by Jonne Valtonen and Roger Wanamo, the concert promises to be a remarkable musical journey, where the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic’s full sound palette and grand virtuosity will be displayed.
Symphonic Memories has been developed by Merregnon Studios, the team behind many other successful and award-winning game music concerts. In Konserthuset Stockholm, the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra has previously featured Symphonic Fantasies (2012), Final Symphony (2014) and Final Symphony II (2016).

The scotish band Glasvegas struck like a bomb across the entire music world with their self-titled debut album 2008 – and even before that they could count among others Ian Brown from The Stone Roses and Carl Barât from The Libertines as fans. The Glasgow band went straight from the narrow basement to the big scenes without the least hesitation, with magic singles like Geraldine, Daddy’s Gone and Flowers & Football Tops.
The album defined in many ways the music year 2008, and since then it has been labeled several times. This year it has been ten years since the release, which Glasvegas will celebrate with a jubilee show on the Moseback terrace on June 13th.
Glasvegas is one of Scotland’s finest music exports, and with its full lengths has become a big favorite of many. The band has previously performed both big and small shows in Sweden, and always tends to deliver at the highest level no matter where the gig is taking place. The same year as the 2008 debut – they also released the Christmas EP A Snowflake Fell (And It Felt Like a Kiss) and have since had another two full lengths – by late later … When the TV Turns Two Static released in 2013 and EP : n Secret Truth the following year.
Right now, Glasvegas is in the studio all over the world and works on its yet untitled new album. Even though the jubilee concert on the Moseback terrace is to some extent a retreat, there is also a chance for all fans to hear new. The play is also the only one that the band performs in Swedish soil in 2018.
After the end of the concert, the cult club Bangers’n’Mash – driven by Robert Plaszczyk and Weeping Willow’s front figure Magnus Carlson – is hosting an after party in Södra Bar.
INFORMATION ON TICKETS Pre-purchase: 335 SEK (including service charge). The terrace opens at 18.00, on stage 19.30. Note Only standing. Age limit 18 years (13 years in company of parent or legal guardian). For information about the Södra Theater accessibility, contact biljettkassan@sodrateatern.com.

Loreen broke through with her win in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The winner of Euphoria became a well world known star who reached the top spot in the top lists in 21 countries.
That same year, her critically acclaimed debut album Heal came with the singles My Heart’s Refusing Me and Crying Out Your Name, and since then she has been touring Europe all over the world with short stops in the studio.
In the fall of 2017 came the single 71 Charger, the first chapter of what would be pouring out in the new album Ride, Loreen’s biggest statement so far. With Ride, Loreen’s music takes a new turn where she presents an honest, raw, but also softer side of one of Sweden’s most interesting artists.
On June 15 you will see her under the sky on the Moseback terrace!
