The superduo from Mali, Amadou & Mariam is back and more up to date than ever!
Amadou & Mariam is not only Mali’s most successful music export throughout the ages, but also one of the biggest acts of the entire African continent. After several years of silence, Amadou & Mariam returned at the end of last year with the acclaimed album “La Confusion”.
For nearly four decades, the duo has been pulishing the mixing of different styles and influences in their music. With the foundation of their own African soul, they have explored everything from disco to hip hop.
The story of Amadou Bagayoko and Mariam Doumbia is one of the more inspiring in modern music history – a love affair that led to two blind visionaries from Mali to climb top lists around the world, win numerous prizes and direct the audience’s attention to what life can look like in Mali .
Do not miss this legendary duo!
The concert is a joint venture between Selam and Konserthuset Stockholm

12-16 For them, natural aromas are real ingredients; they want it to taste rhubarb, so they use rhubarb. Easy. But a little more difficult. They brew everything by hand. Hoping in the future to be able to make fun and good things together with like-minded and realize all the ideas we have about drinking. They value the genuine and genuine and want to create something more fun and better than what is available. Look more like a microbrewery than a soda producer.
NORDIC FAUNA ICE CREAM (On Folkungagatan 136) 12-21 Nordic Fauna Ice Cream is a glass factory and an adventure. In an old garage in the forgotten Kräftriket, a stone’s throw from Brunnsviken in Stockholm, they manufacture craft glass in Nordic flavors. Glasses to eat straight up and down as they are. Or as little pieces of puzzle, taste stories to go from and on to create something of your own. Little like a ice-cream boat without Noak. A journey for all with pleasure and tongue to challenge their own limits. An Adventure in the Far North of Ice Cream!
Even though she worked as a waitress and headmaster in restaurants in New York, Eva Karlsson never gets tired of questions about champagne. Not even stupid questions. Some can have interesting answers (49 million bubbles!). So why is champagne white if the grapes are blue? Why do people think champagne tastes better the more expensive it is? And is it any better the more expensive it is? How is it that American rappers only drink Cristal champagne? Why does champagne only grow in the Champagne district? Speaking of the latter question: You will be served genuine champagne. No sparkling wine here. Should it be high class for it to be high grade. Over the years, she has been tired of the excessive focus on the expensive brands. There is actually really nice authentic champagne that does not turn off the entire party budget.
Eva Karlsson is educated psychodramatic and mental coach. During university studies in France and as a waiter and headmaster in inner restaurants in New York, she acquired unique winning skills. As she now gets an outlet for in her tests at the Spritmuseum. She can be said to have an unpretentious attitude to wine.
Ticket also grants you access to museum exhibitions. Do not miss the museum’s champagne exhibition. The tasting takes about 90 minutes.
The museum’s critically acclaimed restaurant offers an extra dish when ordering an entire dinner menu. Limited number of seats. Please provide the tasting’s booking number in the comment field in connection with the table booking. For more information about the restaurant: www.spritmuseum.se/restaurantangen/
The bar serves simpler dishes before and after the test.

Sweden’s favourites from New Jersey return! The last time they performed in Sweden, it was at Gröna Lund – which turned out to be far too small of a scene for the rock icons . Now Monster Magnet returns to Sweden for two concerts. Led by charismatic Dave Wyndorf, it will be a magical evening.
The songs “Powertrip” and “Space Lord” changed the music world forever. The New Jersey band Monster Magnet quickly became one of the front characters for “rock” and took a whole world by storm, a world that the band is constantly roaming around in all its corners – today.
With over 20 million albums sold, platinum records, sold out tours and five Grammy Award nominations, it’s easy to imagine why James Blunt’s career has been a triumphal trait. But the fact is that it was about to end before it even started. After being discovered by songwriter Linda Perry at the South By Southwest show, James Blunt debuted with the single “High” and the album “Back To Bedlam” in October 2004 but these went almost unnoticed. It wasn’t until the three-piece “You’re Beautiful” was released just over half a year later that he had his boom.
“You’re Beatiful” peaked the lists in ten countries – including Sweden, England and the United States. With the drag-and-drop, the album “Back To Bedlam” rushed up for the lists and became the best selling record in Britain in the twentieth century. Since then, the success has continued for James Blunt – every single disc he has released has sold platinum several times.
In March 2017, James Blunt released his fifth album “The Afterlove”, which include collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd).
– To have a Dale Grimshaw solo exhibition at Wallery in Stockholm is more than a dream come true says Jmmie Hall owner of Wallery.
ABOUT Dale Grimshaw was born in Lancashire, in the North of England. During a difficult childhood, his drawing and painting became extremely important to him. He developed his skills at college, firstly with an Art Foundation course at Blackburn College and later he studied fine art to degree level at Middlesex University in London.
Dale has a successful gallery career. He has had five solo shows in Signal Gallery, London and numerous group shows including those Berlin, Paris, New York, Stockholm and Rome. His shows have been widely recognised in the press and online. Articles written about have been published in The independent newspaper, Juztapoz magazine and Art Of England Magazine.
More recently he has been devoting time to street murals and has been widely recognised as one of the most powerful and talented of street artists on that scene. Over the past five years he has been invited to festivals nationally and internationally as well as painting many iconic walls across London, where he lives.
Dale’s work is boldly figurative and is inspired by his strongly held humanitarian beliefs. However this political message is always achieved by an emphasis on powerful direct emotions and a deep empathy for his subjects.
The event will be held in Moon, check for signs upon arrival.
Description of the most important talk you’ll hear this year:
Paul Rapacioli is the founder of The Local, a news brand dedicated to increasing the understanding of daily life in Europe, particularly among international citizens across the continent. Since 2004 almost 300 million people have read The Local.
Paul’s talk is based on his recent book, Good Sweden, Bad Sweden, which explains how and why the idea of Sweden as a nation in crisis is spreading. It is a story of polarised agendas, twisted facts and the power of bad news. In a global battle of values, a negative image of Sweden has become a weapon used by populist politicians around the world. But why Sweden? What does this mean for Swedish business, tourism and diplomacy? And how can the country regain control of its reputation?

Can you think of something more moodful than a pre summer concert? Flowers blooming, the birds singing and in the German church the sound of summer songs is heard. And you’re welcome just the way you are. The choir offers everything from famous summer tunes in new arrangements to Italian moody works and tones inspired by Icelandic nature. The repertoire takes us over green heathens into burning fires and so right into the heart.
