Sanna Nielsen returns to the Allsång stage

Sanna Nielsen at Allsång på Skansen

Week 2 of this summer’s Allsång på Skansen brought along a fond reunion, as the former hostess Sanna Nielsen returned to the stage she made her own for many years. The long-running singalong tradition is in good hands with the current hostess Pernilla Wahlgren as well.

The evening’s entertainment included once again many different genres, with everything from Molly Hammar‘s souldful pop to Naod & Greekazo‘s rap, as well as the legendary mass, the mass, the Infinite Mass.

And you must know the drill by now, our very special Allsången photographer Jytte Lindberg was there once again in order to bring you the best pictures.

Sanna Nielsen got to kick off the programme with a singalong rendition of Musik ska byggas ut av glädje, and it clearly brought home the importance of joy in making music.

Pernilla Wahlgren kept the crowd entertained throughout the evening.

Infinite Mass performed their classic hit Bullet.

Molly Hammar performed her new ballad Ängel, showing off her impressive vocal prowess.

Naod and Greekazo led the audience in a singalong to Sweden’ World Cup 1994 anthem Vi gräver guld i USA, of course donning the yellow and blue of the Swedish national team.

Sanna Nielsen treated the audience to a medley of her most popular songs from her career throughout the years.

Molly Hammar returned for a singalong classic, En kväll i juni.

Naod & Greekazo also performed their own contribution to Team Sweden’s this year’s World Cup campaign, Final.

Infinite Mass returned with the infectious grooves of The Thief.

The guys in Infinite Mass also realised their dream of joining the Electric Banana Band on stage, performing Zvampen.

Pernilla Wahlgren was joined on stage by several leading ladies for a song starting off about her anxiety over aging but ultimately celebrating older ladies. The line-up included Ann-Louise Hanson, Siw Malmkvist, Arja Saijonmaa, Ewa Roos and Babsan. Serving Tant, as Pernilla said.

Brandsta City Släckers did their World Cup anthem All in för Sverige, which is a retake of their Melodifestivalen hit Rakt in i elden.
