Iconic band Slayer says goodbye after nearly 40 years as thrash metal giants. For the last tour of the band they will take a stop in Sweden and play at Hovet in Stockholm on December 5th. With them as special guests, they have no less than Lamb of Good, Anthrax and Obituary!
They are the creators of one of the most brutal and aggressive music ever created. Slayer is one of four bands that has defined a whole genre – and has become a benchmark for how to make metal. After almost 37 years, the band has released 12 studio albums and won a lot of prizes (including two Grammy Awards). The records have sold gold several times and the band has even got its own show at the rich Smithsonian Institute. It’s a band that has been on the front of hundreds of metal and rock magazines and toured the world over thousands of dedicated fans. There is also a band that has been in deep sorrow, with the guitarist and co-founder Jeff Hanneman’s tragic death in 2013.
Now the story of Slayer is over. And for their final goodbye they bring Lamb of Good, Anthrax and Obituary.

MGMT took the world by storm when in 2007, they gave us a new soundtrack to our lives. We were thrown into a coming-of-age drama called “Oracular Spectacular”, an indy rock pearl marked end of the 21st century, with songs that worked equally well for the party and on the way to school, as in the aftermath of a broken heart. Since then, Andrew VanWyngarden and Benjamin Goldwasser have only taken us deeper into their psychedelic and synthetic world, where this year’s “Little Dark Age” has both revamped the project as much as it felt like a homage to all the band ever created.

After a lot of touring around the world, it is now time for international star Tove Strength to return home – with her acclaimed album Sway in the luggage – and perform several concerts around Sweden and the Nordic region this fall. This summer’s show at Popaganda was just a taste of what’s going to happen. The performance was rewarded with four plus by Aftonbladet’s reviewer who called it “modern floating” and said that “Tove Styrke created a rough, careful ecstasy in the early summer night”.
Join the gathering on December 15th for another exciting night at Nobelberget.
Stay tuned for artist announcement.

LINE UP:
Take of Us Very Addictive (DISK Records) Linny Hex (Kvalia Rec) Emmi
When the autumn darkness and the cold sweep over the capital, KONTAKT opens up a warm oasis inside Berns to create intimate relationships between people and music. In order for this to happen, all artists will be placed close to you so that kontact will be reached between you, the artist and the music.
Open until 5:00, DJs will play “on the floor” in the big room and you can move freely between the big lounge and the basement.
► TALE OF US ◄
Italian superstar duo TALE OF US is coming to episode 2 of KONTAKT. Now two years after their last visit, the founders of Afterlife return to the capital again for an intimate and very exclusive set in the great room at Berns. Their ability to merge emotional techno with immense intensity is exactly what KONTAKT stands for.
Is there any Swedish techno duo that works as intensively as Very Addictive. Maybe … but this duo stands out with its incredible professionalism, joy and enormous energy. By 2018, they released two new singles on the label Disk Records and the last single “Spiral” is also a real techno banger.

Since Jeremy’s first release on his label Vivrant in December of 2015, the imprint has seen nine out of its fourteen EPs make #1 on Beatport. Parallel to the label’s growth, the founder himself has seen his own profile ascend closer and closer to the very top of the game.
When it rains it pours, they say, and the inception of Vivrant has allowed for incredibly artistic growth, and brought Jeremy a career-first residency at esteemed LA nightclub Sound, opened the door to host multiple sold out label showcases across the globe, an invitation to Ultra’s Resistance night at Privilege Ibiza alongside Sasha & Digweed, Art Department and Dubfire and key festival plays, such as Baum Park in Colombia, Big Burn in Turkey, Labyrinth Open in Croatia, Pleinvrees in Holland and Extrema Outdoor in Belgium to mention a few.
The label’s had an unusually rapid chart ascent with remixes and original work from Henry Saiz, Tim Engelhardt, Finnebassen, Khen, Marino Canal, André Hommen, Ejeca and seen repeated support from dance music’s crème de la crème like Sasha, Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, and John Digweed.
With an ever-growing demand from other esteemed outlets, Jeremy’s had several chart-topping dispatches on some of the most coveted labels on the scene. Examples range from Eric Prydz’s Pryda, who he also recorded a shortlisted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix with, Spanish power-house Suara, microCastle, major Atlantic Records, UK behemoth Anjunadeep and John Digweed’s Bedrock, where he released the ‘Last Dance’ EP together with Knee Deep In Sound cohort Cristoph. The EP went straight to #1 on Beatport and was one of Bedrock’s best-selling releases of 2017. Later in the year, he’s rumored to debut on another legendary luminary’s label home. Any guesses?
2018 had Olander’s touring schedule filled to the brim with notable shows at marquee clubs and festivals around the globe. His diary has included Sydney’s Electric Gardens, Montreal’s Stereo, London’s Steelyard, Labyrinth Open in Croatia, Woobar in Bali, Vivrant showcases at 1,100 capacity venues Jet in Buenos Aires and Kraken in Stockholm, a Berlin debut at Chalet as well as a slew of sold-out Vivrant at Sea boat parties in Toronto, New York and Boston.
Now, after 6 sold out hometown shows in the last 5 years and an incredible first-ever Cercle event in the Nordics back in October that sold out in 15 seconds, Jeremy returns to his home for what promises to a remarkable Christmas miracle together with an all-star ensemble of the new additions to the Vivrant family.
On Monday, December 21, 1992, the club Monday Bar opened its doors for the first time. On Christmas Day 25th December it celebrates 26 years with a traditional party where they invite some of their favourite DJs and residents with everything from trance, hardstyle, techno and psytrance and prog.
Extra laser and light from Doublem Tech Solutions.
The first time Technostate threw their now traditional X-MAS party was 2003 at the Source Diana so this will be the 15th year and this year they celebrate Christmas a little extra.
They have booked Freedom Fighters from HOMmega (Official) to fly from Israel here to play two hours live set!
