  • Wild Nothing @ Debaser
    19:00 -23:30
    03/03/2019
Debaser Hornstulls Strand, Hornstulls strand, Stockholm, Sweden

At the beginning of the decade, the music world seemed to be dominated by lo-fi dream-pop written in youth home studios and a revival that wanted to push the borders of nostalgia even further. But no one really managed to represent the genre as well as Jack Tatum’s Wild Nothing, where the mix of 80’s throwback and janglepop created their own little sub-genre in the otherwise supersaturated sphere. Since the 2012 Nocturne, Wild Nothing has repeatedly renewed itself without losing its own identity and with this year’s newly released Indigo he continues where Nocturne ended. Here we are offered a retrorevivalism that dares to be honest with its influences and represents them with pride.

Anderson .Paak  with his Andy’s Beach Club World Tour arrives to Annexet in Stockholm on March 5! With the latest hit album Oxnard (released by Dr. Dres Aftermath Entertainment), .Paak has consolidated his place as one of the most interesting artists of our time.

Recently he achieved great success as a guest on Saturday Night Live and with the success of the album Oxnard (.Paaks first on Dr. Dres Aftermath Entertainment) his rise continues. The album landed directly on Billboard Independents first place and it has already been streamed over 100 million times.

The album has the living legend Dr. Dre as executive producer and guest of artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, J. Cole, Q-Tip and Pusha-T. It’s an album that is innovative, unique – and 100% Anderson .Paak – one of the most creative (and acclaimed) artists of hip hop in recent years.

  • Neneh Cherry @ Debaser
    18:30 -23:59
    06/03/2019
Debaser Hornstulls Strand, Hornstulls strand, Stockholm, Sweden

Buffalo Stance exploded like a long-awaited bomb when released in 1988. It was eclectic, feminist, rocky and raw. And Neneh Cherry was the perfect star with her crossed arms and her extraterrestrial coolness. But despite the fact that the debut album Raw Like Sushi has topped lists all over the world, Cherry’s subsequent career did not follow the typical template for a successful artist. Instead, through the decades, she has exhibited a rare musical integrity and consistently treating her music as art rather than a commodity. Perhaps it’s no wonder that she grew up with Don Cherry’s free jazz legend and spent the first half of the 80’s in different postpunk constellations in London.

In 1996, came the record Woman, with the finely-blended 7 Seconds together with Yousso N’Dour among others. Then Neneh Cherry was singing with Cher, and Chrissie Hynde, guest starring with Gorillaz, Kleerup and Teddybears. In 2012 she also released The Cherry Thing, along with the experimental jazz band The Thing and 2014, it was finally time for the first 18-year solo album: Blank Project. Along with producing Four Tet and Jazzelectronica duo Rocket Numbernine, she had delivered yet another uncompromising work that cemented Neneh Cherry roll as a styling icon. The collaboration with Four Tets Kieran Hebdan and Rocketnumbernine gave her more flavor and Neneh Cherry chose the same constellation in the creation of her new amazing record Broken Politics (2018). The British minimalist is recognized, but when the breakpoints between the personal and the political are to be explored, the appropriation is more thoughtful and cautious.

  • The Lemonheads @ Nalen
    20:00 -23:59
    06/03/2019
    Regeringsgatan 74, 111 39 Stockholm, Sweden

Few bands have managed to leave such a massive mark in pop history as The Lemonheads – without having to compromise themselves. And even though it has been almost ten years since The Lemonheads released the album “Varshons” they are more current than ever. On February 8 they released, the new album “Varshons 2” – a kind of sequel to the previously acclaimed album.

Joe Labero has taken Las Vegas by a storm. Now he is loading for an even cooler show – with a world premiere in Sweden.

Surrounded by an ocean as scary as beautiful, the dreadful gang will make you doubt the laws of physics with their stunts and motorcycles booming.

Labero Inflame is astonishing entertainment – which rises on the rear wheel and smells gasoline. Everything is followed by camera teams on large-screen displays. A live action-thriller of life, a magical mega-experience.
