On May 7-10, six performances will be given at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm and on May 13-17, seven performances will be staged at Scandinavium in Gothenburg. This unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca premiered in Montreal during the Big Top in April 2005. The show has been watched by more than 9 million visitors in 19 countries across four continents.

Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a happy, festive and parade-like event illustrated by a clown. The show combines the actor’s passion with the acrobat’s grace and power to throw the audience into a theatre world of joy, comedy and spontaneity that lies in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.

The clown depicts his own funeral which takes place in a carnival atmosphere, supervised by quietly caring angels. When you compare the big to the small, the ridiculous to the tragic and the magic in perfection with the charm of imperfection, the show shows the clown’s strength and fragility, as well as his wisdom and kindness, to illustrate the part of humanity that is within each of us. The music is lyrical and playful and carries Corteo through a timeless celebration where the illusion torments reality.

The stage concept and outline gets the audience in a theatre atmosphere that has never been seen before in a performance by Cirque du Soleil. The rear curtain is inspired by the Eiffel Tower, and the front curtain, which is hand painted, gives the scene a grand feel. It sets the tone for the poetic Corteo.

The Corteo ensemble includes 51 acrobats, musicians, singers and actors from all over the world.

Since its inception over 25 years ago, these black and white rock heroes have saved the music in Sweden – yes, the entire music world – with their energetic music style, absurd humor and even superhuman live shows. Like the fine wine, The Hives has only gotten better over the years.

On stage, The Hives is a jumble of guitars, mic cords and black and white suits. Howlin ‘Pelle explains what he wants to achieve: “We want to create a hurricane of talent and narcissism where both we and the audience hate and love us.” By 2020, it is time for that hurricane to once again sweep over Gröna Lund to leave exhausted but happy fans in its wake.

One of the most brilliant stars of our time is coming back. Everyone who saw Dua Lipa at the Annexet in spring 2018 realised that next time she would play at a much larger place. There we are now. The twenty-four-year-old artist from London already is at the highest of levels. Her self-titled debut album from 2017 developed into a global success, underlined by streaming figures that are nothing but astronomical for songs such as New Rules, IDGAF, Be The One and other dance anthems. The Ericsson Globe will turn into a huge disco ball when she plays there on May 12.

In May 2020, legendary prima ballerina Irina Kolesnikova returns to Cirkus in Stockholm following a sold-out Swedish debut with the St Petersburg Ballet Theater in May 2019.

The world-famous ballerina once again leads the SPBT’s stars in an enchanting set of Lake Swan.

It’s classic ballet at its best. The performance is given in its full length and is accompanied by the St. Petersburg Ballet Theater Orchestra performing Tjajkovsky’s powerful and unforgettable music.

The Swan Lake tells the story of the young prince Siegfried who falls in love with the swan princess Odette, a young woman who was transformed into a white swan by the evil sorcerer Rothbart.

It is a story of true love that overcomes everything.

Irina Kolesnikova is unique in the role of Odette / Odile. She has danced in the Swan Lake almost a thousand times and this role has become her personal staple.

Fritz Kalkbrenner returns to Stockholm during his True Colors Tour 2020 and takes over Berns with his magical live show for the first time!

Born in East Berlin in 1981, Fritz Kalkbrenner was very impressed and influenced by the 90s techno scene in Germany where he followed his brother Paul Kalkbrenner’s footsteps into the modern world of electronic music. After working in film and television for a time Fritz suddenly appeared as a vocalist on the song “Forms & Shapes” produced by his close friend Sascha Funke. It was with this release that his career kicked off.

By pure coincidence, Fritz slipped in as a vocalist when Brother Paul produced the soundtrack to an underground movie under the name “Berlin Calling” which would become a milestone in techno music. After the legendary song “Sky & Sand” was made, Fritz began producing his own music and signed with SUOL REC 2010 with the intention of creating his soulful and deep electronic house. His debut album “Here Today Gone Tomorrow” was released the same year and his way of working as a vocalist over his own productions proved to be very successful.

His upcoming albums and singles have also been very successful with top rankings on German singles lists. After touring the world with his live shows and DJ sets, he returned to producing a purely instrumental underground house album which resulted in the epic album “Drown” 2018. With its release, he also started his own label “Nasua Music” where he started producing new music in 2019 where the first single “Kings & Queens” was released in October. The single was followed up by Fritz’s new album “True Colors”.

Machine Head is the Oakland band that has become a representative name in the metal world since their debut “Burn My Eyes” from 1994 (25 years this year!). The band’s ninth album “Catharsis” was released in 2018 – the same year as the band was in Sweden most recently, then in Gothenburg. Now all original members are gathered again and will be coming to the Fryshuset in Stockholm on May 28 with the 25th anniversary of the debut album!

After instant success and tribute in the early 1970s with his group Roxy Music, Bryan Ferry has established himself as one of pop music’s most innovative singers and copywriters.
His music reminds us of Frank Sinatra, Serge Gainsbourg and Lou Reed, but Ferry’s own touch is constantly present and takes the music to groundbreaking new heights.

Stockholm Burger Fest returns on May 29-31, 2020 for three days of total burger love! This is the fifth festival on a row and it will be the biggest and best ever.

Green Day returns to Sweden with their new album “Father of all” (release February 7, 2020). The last time the trio to played in Sweden was in 2017, when they sold out Ericsson Globe.

Green Day broke through with “Dookie” in 1994 and quickly went from being a garage band to selling ten million albums. 20 years and 70 million albums later, they are just as relevant with several Grammy-winning records in their baggage, their own musical in their honor and many and world tours. In 2015, they were also inducted into the Rock & Roll Music Hall of Fame.

In 2016, Green Day released “Revolution Radio”, its twelfth studio album, and the following year the band visited Sweden for three gigs.
