Charity Art Expo n*6 Returns to Kulturhuset, Bringing Art, People, and Purpose Together

On May 2, 2026, one of Stockholm’s most accessible and dynamic art events returns to the city center. Charity Art Expo 6 will take place at Kulturhuset, Sergels Torg, transforming Lilla Studion into a vibrant space where contemporary art, live performances, and human connection meet.

Unlike traditional art fairs, Charity Art Expo is built on a different model. Artists exhibit their work without commission, keeping 100 percent of their sales, while 10 percent of total artwork sales are donated to Doctors Without Borders. The result is a rare balance between creative freedom, economic opportunity, and social impact.

A Direct Experience of Contemporary Art

For visitors, the event offers a unique opportunity to experience art in a more personal and engaging way. Over 50 artists and partners will present works across painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media. Instead of viewing art at a distance, visitors can speak directly with the creators, understand their process, and connect with the stories behind each piece.

This direct interaction is one of the defining features of Charity Art Expo. It removes the usual barriers between artist and audience, making the experience more immediate, more human, and often more memorable.

A Cultural Event Beyond the Exhibition

Charity Art Expo 6 is not limited to visual art. Throughout the day, the program includes live performances that add rhythm and energy to the space. From music to dance and stage presentations, the event becomes a living environment where multiple forms of expression coexist.

Visitors can move between artworks, conversations, and performances, creating a dynamic experience that evolves from moment to moment. The addition of bar catering by Carotte further enhances the atmosphere, offering a refined setting for both discovery and social interaction. Singers will be performing every hour: Therése Neaimé-13.30 / Twinflame-14.30 / ittalo Mesaque-15.30 / Artist Talks-16.30

A Platform for Artists

For participating artists, the event represents more than an exhibition. It is a platform designed to provide visibility, access, and real opportunities.

In a city like Stockholm, where exhibition spaces are often limited and costly, Charity Art Expo offers an alternative. Artists gain exposure in a central location, meet collectors and professionals, and engage directly with an audience that is open and curious.

By removing commission fees, the model supports artists in a tangible way, allowing them to focus on their work while benefiting fully from their sales.

Art with Impact

The collaboration with Doctors Without Borders adds another layer of meaning to the event. Every purchase contributes to medical aid in crisis areas, connecting the act of collecting art with a broader humanitarian impact.

This combination of creativity and purpose reflects a growing interest among audiences who seek experiences that are both inspiring and meaningful.

Looking Ahead

Charity Art Expo has been growing steadily with each edition, moving through different venues in Stockholm and building a community around its concept. Returning to Kulturhuset places the event at the heart of the city, increasing its visibility and accessibility.

The next edition is already scheduled for September 5, 2026, continuing the momentum and offering new opportunities for both artists and visitors.
