Wallery c/o Magic City Stockholm proudly presents the exhibition ANTIDOTE with their first international female street artist Frida Stiil Vium aka NADA @fridastiilvium. This Danish girl took us by storm this autumn and it is a pleasure to know that we found and booked her before the curators for Miami Art Festival 2017.
Frida Stiil Vium aka. NADA is an upcoming artist from Aalborg, Danmark. She was born in 1997 and has been drawing and painting as long as she remembers. Frida chose to focus on art in 2014 when she chose to stop in high school and follow her dream. She expresses herself in paintings, drawing as well as street art, which she has developed by traveling around in the world painting walls and making cultural social projects on different continents.

Wood is still the natural choice for designers and furniture makers in the north and an increasingly topical material as the focus is shifting to sustainability issues. The exhibition WELOVEWOODS presents a selection of clever furniture, light fixtures and other items made of wood in Finland and Sweden.

The American death metal band Cannibal Corpse comes to Sweden for two concerts together with Black Dahlia Murder and No Return.
February 11: Gothenburg, Sticky Fingers February 12: Stockholm, Fryshuset Klubben
Cannibal Corpse is one of the world’s most influential death metal bands, and their rock-hard music with ultrabrutal lyrics quickly made them a big name in the genre. They have sold over two million records and thus they are considered to be the best selling death metal band ever. Cannibal Corpse visited Sweden by spring 2016 with gigs in Stockholm and Gothenburg.
On February 14th, Valentine’s Day, Sweden will receive Croatia to hopefully secure its European Championship ticket. “It will be a historic match because it’s the first time ever the femenil team is playing at Hovet, the public record for femenil basket will shake and it will be a declaration of love for both the team and our sport,” says Johannes Wohlert at the Swedish Basketball Federation.
The team got a dream start on the European Championship qualifier, winning both Croatia and Macedonia. In February there are two home matches on the game schedule, matches that can be crucial for advancement. “It is clear that home wins against Italy and Croatia would put us in a perfect position to win the group,” said Francois Gomez, the federation.
Swedish basketball is now a great opportunity to give the team all the opportunities for fantastic public support. The match against Italy will be played in Borås and the match against Croatia will be played at Hovet.

Lady Gaga, who has won both Grammy and Golden Globe awards and been nominated for an Oscar, is a truly unique artist. THE RADIO DEPT 17 Feb – Kägelbanan Support: Kim Ki O Of all bands that emerged flirting with shoegaze and dreamy pop in the 21st century, the Radio Dept. has been the most interesting. Since its inception, the band, now a duo, has created a shave and shoegaze influenced pop – always with finesse, and always on its own premises. Last fall after a period of silence, The Radio Dept. released the album “Running Out of Love” – a slight but still well-meaning depiction of our contemporary. The Radio Dept. is a modern institution, and among the finest this country has to offer in the pop-up. Now we can proudly announce that the band will make three Sweden performances – January 27th in Malmö, February 16th in Gothenburg and February 17th in Stockholm.

Alongside their diverse programme they will also be hosting a variety of panels addressing gender equality in film, masterclasses, workshops, face 2 faces and more.
22 years after the launch of their last album, came the new self-titled album Slowdive – a record that shows how significant their classic albums have been in the dream pop scene and the huge quality the band still has. After a successful comeback as a live band in the summer of 2014, with a festival tour that started with Slowdive being one of the headlines of the influential Primavera Sound festival, it was always the band’s ambition to come back as a band with a new album. Strengthened by the success the live band has, the focus was on capturing the unique dynamics of the band, although it is usually the band’s melody champion Neal Halstead, who embodies most of the material. Now Slowdive finally returns to Swedish soil – February 22 at Kägelbanan, and February 23 at Pustervik in Gothenburg.

They have just released the new album EVOLVE and tour dates in North America are already announced – now it’s clear that Imagine Dragons also takes his Evolve Tour to Europe and Sweden. The European part of the tour starts in Antwerp in Belgium on February 6 and ends in Stockholm on April 26 with a concert at Ericsson Globe.
