The underwear party
Debaser Hornstulls Strand, Hornstulls strand, Stockholm, SwedenIt’s the 10 year anniversary of the legendary Underwear Party during EuroPride 2018! Since 2008, this has been the first party of its kind and has attracted visitors from all over Europe. The Underwear Party has become the year’s most talked about, loved and awaited happening where people of all sexualities, gender identities, body types and ages dance in their underwear.
The Underwear Party’s organizer Petter Wallenberg says:
“Everyone who comes to The Underwear Party for the first time say they certainly won’t dare to take off something, then it takes two minutes until they throw off their clothes and go nuts. Starting off in Stockholm: The Swedish capital witch is famous for its closeness to nature, booming tech-scene, gender-fluid fashion, colourful LGBT community and the Nobel prize. And of course, the EuroPride Park, EuroPride House and EuroPride Parade.
Att around Stockholm there will be pride hubs and pop ups where EuroPride visitors can meet and take part of different events. Last year there were over 600 programs items – events at Pride House, Pride Park, museums, clubs, lgbt organisations, etc.

EuroPride Parade
Stadshuset, Stockholm, SwedenStockholm Pride Parade is the largest Pride Parade in Scandinavia. It is an event that should not be missed.
The Parade proceeds through the city of Stockholm as the single largest event of Stockholm Pride. It is a joyous and colourful manifestation of love and liberty, as well as a demonstration for everybody’s right to love whomever they want to.
The Parade is made up of 45 000 participants, marching through Stockholm, 200 floats, groups and vehicles, and attracts nearly half a million spectators to the streets of Stockholm.
The start is this year located at Stadshuset on Kungsholmen, via Hantverkargatan – Stadshusbron – Tegelbacken – runt Rödbodtorget – Vasagatan – Kungsgatan – Sturegatan – Lidingövägen – Östermalms IP, all the way to Pride Park at Östermalms IP.
The Parade usually takes 2 hours to reach its destination.
