Hello March, we’ve been waiting for you! Always hoping that this month will bring the blooming of an anticipated spring, lots of events and happenings lining up to take us into bright rides of joy and expectation. SEASONAL CELEBRATIONS

The fire festival at Skansen

With the hosts Sina Valiollah and Nazanin Nour, an entire sparkling evening with ice dance shows, traditional jumps of fires, children’s activities, fragrant food and fantastic artists from all over the world – including Jasmine Kara and Süperstar Orkestar!

Tempo is Sweden’s largest festival for documentary expression. This year Tempo’s theme is Family and the program is filled with interesting touches in the innermost sphere.

    In 2012 one of the world’s largest electronic acts throughout the ages announced that they were going to say goodbye, even though they were on top of a breakthrough record career.

     

    Swedish House Mafia Toured worldwide with their farewell tour and quickly became the best selling electronic act throughout the ages. On their last tour together, the three sold out shows at Friends Arena in Stockholm resulted in 133,000 fans attending – their first and last gigs at home.

     

    Six years have passed and fans around the world have hoped and wondered if they would ever see the trio again. The dream of a reunited Swedish House Mafia is now coming true, and Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello have chosen to put things behind and reunite – not only as the Swedish House Mafia and as artists, but perhaps most importantly – as three best friends with a message.

    –A trade show, with producers and stores showing you the newest and best games in market!
    –A gaming area, with tables and tabletop games galore!

     

    Flea market (Spellopis): you can buy and sell second-hand games. Most sold games have been in great shape. So you recycle, while spreading the joy of gaming.

    Game producers and stores will demonstrate and sell the latest, greatest tabletop games on market.

     

    Gaming area,
    in the gaming area, their crew will:
    –Help group visitors, so that you can find people to play with.
    –Staff a game library and help groups find good, suitable games – depending on visitors’ interests and experiences.
    –Coach visitors – to get them going
    –Facilitate tournaments, meet-ups, and miniature painting, among other activities

An intimate warehouse block party in the area known as Slakthusområdet, or the meatpacking district of Stockholm. On May 25 you’ll be able to see some of the finest artists and DJ’s the electronic scene has to offer. Department will be an intimate party in an industrial area built in 1912, in Art Noveau style, and the main stage will be in a beautiful warehouse creating a great atmosphere for concerts and clubbing, but nonetheless with a limited capacity. Curious fact, even though the festival is taking place at the meatpacking district, Department’s food options will be 100% vegan.
