In 2014 the festival expanded to 10 full days. Attendance exceeded 21,000 and some of the notable highlights included Jamie Cullum, Angelique Kidjo and the Wayne Shorter Quartet. The latter concert was broadcasted live by the renowned French television channel Mezzo to over 16 million households in 46 countries!

Iranian Film Festival 2019
Drottninggatan 82, 111 36 Stockholm, SwedenThe 19th edition of the 2019 Iranian Film Festival, taking place on October 12-13 at the Skandia cinema in Stockholm.
Most of this year’s films have the European premiere and the festival is as usual hosted by some of Iran’s most respected directors and actors for intimate dialogues with cinema visitors after each gig.
The Iranian Film Festival is an initiative of the YARI Foundation, a Swedish charity with 90 accounts. The festival’s ambition is to focus more on Iranian film tradition and award-winning crafts, but also to draw attention to the vulnerable school children in Iran. The film festival’s profits go in full to YARI’s continued work to secure more children’s future schooling .
