With thousands of runners running through a winter-lit Skansen, a fantastic atmosphere created by bonfires, torches and fire artists. There will be fire performers along the track creating a beautiful winter racing party with magical framing and sweet atmosphere that you will never forget.

Björk releases her new album Utopia and that’s got to be celebrated with an evening in the Icelandic icon’s honor. There will be music from her entire career and from her collaborations with other artists, with visual material projections, as well as something Icelandic to taste.

Three of the most interesting hip hop artists of the Swedish scene will perform with separate concerts at Studion. Celebrating the show Folkmusik 2.0 – Swedish hiphop remixed with thunder and broke!

JIREEL
The young rapper from Rågsved south of Stockholm has soon exploded as one of the country’s most noticed hip hop promises. Jireel debuted in November 2015 with the song “Here & Now” and has since continued with his crisp, modern style. Songs like “Like Me”, “Long Guy” and Superheater “Cataleya” made 2016 to his perhaps strongest year to date. “Snap” from recently released EP ‘Jettad’ is already mentioned as a milestone in Swedish hiphop – and when Jireel received the great honor to finish the entire Grammis Gala 2017, we could see a taste of a brilliant live artist. Now he is on a great tour of the country! Jireel has just begun.

Sammy & Johnny Bennett
The video and song 5DF with Sammy & Johnny Bennett struck down as a bomb on the Swedish rap scene in spring 2016. The word about the pair of parents and the TU5EN collective from Gothenburg spread like a runaway. More and more have stood in the tribute choir for their amazing flow, rhythm and attitude since the brothers’ debut EP: Hundreds80 released last year.
At the Grammis Gala in 2017, Sammy & Johnny Bennett was well deserved in the category Newcomer of the Year. They are also nominated in the category “Hip Hop of the Year / RnB” on the P3 Gold Galaxy 2018 for their second EP ST.RECK released this year. Duon has this year Toured in Scandinavia with Lorentz and is currently working on his debut album. In anticipation of more details about the release of this, the audience can start by listening to the brothers’ latest single Proof.

Jelly
On the 8th Sept, JËLLY released his debut Allting / Nothing. A EP about disappointment and sadness, but also about finding back to strength again. JËLLY is the first artist on Adam Tensta’s newly launched label JÄRN.

Al Pitcher’s previous three solo tours have all been very popular successes, performing for sold out venues. The new standup show Sweden Syndrome is premiere October 27 in Norrköping and is described by Al as a love letter to his new homeland Sweden.

No one observes Swedes like Al Pitcher, with great warmth and astounding accuracy. His solo performances Fika, Påtår and Nääämen have given Al Pitcher a big and faithful audience. In the new show, Sweden Syndrome, Al turns the perspective and we get to know our new countryman and take part in his trip: from birth to England to childhood in New Zealand, then landing here, with a Swedish wife and two children.

After a sold out concert in October, Sweden’s largest 80’s concert will be back on January 27, 2018!

Some of Sweden’s biggest and most popular pop artists from the 80’s will take the Göta Lejon’s stage in a concert with their very greatest 80s hits.

100% hits by artists like Ankie Bagger, Noice, and stars from Style, Golden Times and Sha-Boom.

The bar is open before and after the concert serving 80s drinks and playing 80s music.

ÂME who together with Dixon runs the label “Innervisions” in Berlin performed a completely unforgettable “live-set” in Stockholm last summer. Now they’re coming  back to the Slakthuset’s season premier of 2018 for an exclusive 3 hour DJ set to really start the new year in the best possible way.

At Absolutely 90’s Patsy Stone picks up BSB-Kevin on the dance floor to the tones of “Barbie Girl” while the Army of Lovers throws Buffalos on Ricky Martin. At the bar, Pet Shop Boys runs the jello-shot race with Britney Spears. Leonardo DiCaprio asks the question “What Is Love” when Leila K gets ahead of the toilet queue. On the dance floor, all dance moves to “Macarena” and Robinson Robban is always “King of the Bar”.
