Everybody’s favorite sing-along show Allsång på Skansen always makes an extra effort for Stockholm Pride week, and this time was no exception. They really pulled out all the stops and brought us The Ark with Ola Salo strutting his stuff, Eurovision winner Dara going full Bangaranga with her Swedish dance crew and total Disco Inferno under the leadership of Andreas Lundstedt, but what really made people talk was that on-stage kiss live on primetime TV.

As usual, the show’s hostess Pernilla Wahlgren was shining as bright as the sun.
The Ark and Ola Salo started the proceedings with their biggest hit It Takes a Fool to Remain Sane, all dressed in white but still full of glam and glitter.
Shima Niavarani, better known for her acting prowess, showcased her new song Contagious, which is from her solo show.
Stars of the musical version of Jonas Gardell‘s Torka aldrig tårar utan handskar, Valdemar Wahlbeck and Martin Stokke Mathiesen sang the song Överge allt för dig. They ended the performance with a proper kiss, which got many reactions – lots of them very positive, but many so negative the whole boys kissing boys thing really showed why shining a light on LGBTQIA+ matters is still very much needed, also in Sweden that tends to see itself as very progressive in this regard.
Valdemar and Martin were then joined by Ola Salo, who is actually also part of the cast of the musical. They all led the audience in a sing-along of Det börjar verka kärlek banne mig, Sweden’s 1968 Eurovision entry.
The Ark returned to the stage to perform their song If I Ever Lose My Temper, showing off their glam rock chops, and Ola especially demonstratingwhy he is still a frontman of international standards, 35 years after they started the band.
Andreas Lundstedt, Lina Hedlund, LaGaylia Frazier and Prince Prime are taking a 100-minute 100% disco show on the road under the name of Disco Inferno and they gave the audience a taster.
Their full-energy disco medley had the audience singing and dancing along. Also the seated part of the audience was on their feet getting down with the groove.
The world’s strongest bear Bamse is celebrating a 60 year anniversary, so he brought all his friends to perform the Bamse theme song.
Eurovision winner Dara was in town as a headliner for Stockholm Pride’s musical offerings, and brought the Bangaranga to the Solliden stage at Skansen with her extraordinary Swedish dancers.
Dara was flanked by the same amazing Swedish dancers who helped her take the Eurovision victory in May: Lisa Högström, Mateo Cordova Pomo, Iker Cederblom Herrera and Ellinea Siambalis. The number created by Sweden’s Benke Rydman and Keisha von Arnold played a big role in the Bulgarian success.
Dara was very happy to be on that stage and had all good things to say about Stockholm and Sweden.
Tjuvjakt were given the honors of playing the extra set for the online audience after the one hour main broadcast.
They of course brought along Fanny Avonne, who co-wrote and featured on their big summer hit Tusen spänn.
