The fire festival at Skansen

    Skansen’s Christmas Market is an unbroken tradition ever since 1903. In the town quarter, the Christmas market, is alive during the weekends leading to Christmas Eve. The craftsmen work there in their workshops and houses. On top of the market, the Christmas atmosphere features Christmas decorations, sweets, Christmas presents, straw loaves and other classic craftsmanship of the highest quality.

    Are you hungry? There are lots of delicious food to eat on site, like traditional meatballs, wild burgers, donuts and much more. Join the Christmas party, dance around the tree and see how Christmas was celebrated sooner in Swedish houses and farms. Warm welcome!

    For the second year Långholmen organizes a special Christmas market at Långholmen Hotell and Restaurang! Last year’s Christmas market was very successful with very many happy visitors who could enjoy interesting exhibitors, good food and nice activities.

    Located in the historic setting of Långholmen’s old prison to arrange exhibitors, activities and cafés – all framed in a moody Christmas-decorated farm.

    Location: Old prison at Långholmen at Långholmsmuren 20. The Christmas market is mostly outdoors.

    Market stand: Selected exhibitors showcase their beautiful and interesting crafts and products. Buy interior details, household items, Christmas decorations, Christmas presents, floral arrangements, jewelry, clothes, accessories, goodies and more!

    Lena Chamamyan’s voice and musicality has touched the audience in both the East and the West. She is considered to be one of the premier singers of her generation. A scent of oriental jazz goes through her music – a mixture of classical Arabic music, Armenian songs and western music. She was born in 1980 in Damascus with Armenian roots. At only five years old she gave her first concert. Her first major concert took place in Aleppo 2002.

    Lena Chamamyan is one of the few women from the Middle East to write music, produce and sing her own music. She released her first album in 2006 where she mixes elements from oriental music and jazz. That same year she won the Radio Monte Carlos award for best world music. In 2011, Arabian Business Magazine appointed her one of the 500 most influential people in the Arab world.

    Over the years, Lena Chamamyan has participated in many prestigious Arabic and international music festivals and her voice is heard in several TV shows and dramatic works in Syria as well as in other countries. The songs on her latest album Ghazl El Banat have a strong focus on peace and protection of women and children.

    With roots from Ghana, her music has grown from Ghana and all the way to Europe. Fotografiska Studio Live now presents the artist Tsoobi for a night full of African beats and strong texts that touches everyone.

    Tsoobi is up to date with an EP that will soon be released. To help her in the production of the new EP, she has had Travis Scott’s sound technician for both mixing and mastering. She is already fully booked with gigs all over the world and planned several studio sessions to create new music.

    The songs are inspired by her life at home in Ghana and the first single is on its way, called “Akoma”, which means heart on Akan. Music video for the single Akoma is filmed in Sweden and is directed by the famous film director Nikeisha Andersson. Tsoobi has a fantastic team she works with. Including Dennis Graham – more famous as Drakes father.

    With African beats and music inspired by favorite artists Queen Ifrica, Rihanna, Burna Boy and Bob Marley, we welcome Tsoobi for a unique event att Studio Live.

    OPENING ACT

    Robin K.O moves freely within his Swedish appealing romantic rap pop with Caribbean influences. After breaking his back, Robin jumped into the studio and recorded his Debute singel “PRIMA” released December 1 with a luxurious music video filmed on Gran Canaria with TV
