January felt so long we are glad it’s finally over to give way to February’s new opportunities. The city’s buzz and life are slowly starting to return after its winter hibernation and post-holidays empty-pocket days. So with this month’s new hopes come lots of events and happenings and you don’t need to go anywhere else to find out, as we have listed some of the best things you can do and experience in February in Stockholm!

Valentine’s Day

    The last time John Mayer was in Sweden was in 2014. This time, every concert will consist of segments with the full band, John solo with acoustic guitar and John Mayer Trio.

    On Friday, January 20, he released the first wave of music from the new album “The Search for Everything” and it went straight in at # 1 on iTunes. This release consists of previously released song “Love on the Weekend” as well as three brand new songs; “Moving On and Getting Over,” “Changing” and “You’re Gonna Live Forever in Me”. The album, Mayer began recording in 2014 in classic Capitol Studios in Capitol Records Building in Hollywood, will be released in its entirety later this spring.

    Wonderful, colorful Miss Li finally makes his own music again! On May 26, she returns to Grönan for the third time.

    Miss Li debuted in November 2006 and resulted in the space of a year out of three best-selling albums and a “Best of” disc with eight unique tracks. During the same period, she recorded the duet “If You Leave Me Now” with Lars Frederiksen, who clocked up record-breaking 240 weeks on the Swedish charts, won a Grammy for song of the year and she was also nominated for this year’s live performer.

    In recent years, Miss Li has traveled the world and written music for others, but now she is ready for a fresh start, and in March she releases a new album!
