The fire festival at Skansen
Djurgårdsslätten 49, 115 21 Stockholm, SwedenWith the hosts Sina Valiollah and Nazanin Nour, an entire sparkling evening with ice dance shows, traditional jumps of fires, children’s activities, fragrant food and fantastic artists from all over the world!
The artists that gild the evening include Andy Madadian, Sasy, Mozhdah Jamalzadah, Jasmin Kara and Kiosk!

The party is being streamed live both internationally and to several cities in Sweden.The fire festival is a non-religious celebration that has been celebrated among many different peoples for thousands of years to welcome spring and is part of the Persian New Year Nouroz. In Persian, the festival is called Chaharshanbeh Suri and is always celebrated on the Tuesday before the Persian New Year, which in turn falls on the spring equinox. Just as in the Swedish traditional Valborg celebration, nature’s change is greeted with flaming fires, that winter is spring and that the light comes back.
The fire party is celebrated at the same time in Gothenburg and Malmö and in all cities there is free admission to the festivities!

Tribute: Ramones

With classics such as “Blitzkrieg Bop”, “Sheena Is A Punkrocker” and “I Wanna Be Sedated”, the Ramones laid the foundation for the seventies punk wave and influenced countless bands to pick up the guitars and start playing. Ramones minimalist rock ‘n’ roll proved that a perfect song requires no more than three chords and a chorus to scream in. In addition the DJs will also play other classic punk like Iggy Pop, The Clash, New York Dolls, Dead Boys etc …Free entrance
