Steele has been called Sweden’s dark princess of pop and her sound is progressive with lots of beats and post-rock influences. In her own words she describes her work as a cinema show, but with music.

Nadia Nair is one of our long-time favorites here at Your Living City. Her deeply touching voice and personal music deserve your attention. Beside the impeccable pop sensitivities and great lyrics, her music also includes influences from the Indian and Malaysian side of her roots.

She will be playing at the ABBA Museum’s Pop House Live Sessions on Friday the 4th November. It’s a nice and intimate setting for concerts and best of all, it’s free entrance!

Mexican Society organizes the celebration of the Day of the Dead with an exhibition, an altar with offers, craft market and traditional Mexican bread. Dancing, singing and music with the mariachi Mexico Lindo and Fiesta Mexico, Skeleton Workshop and more.

This year’s ofrenda (altar) is dedicated to Alberto Aguilera Valadez, better known as the artist Juan Gabriel. He died in August 28, 2016 and is one of Latin America’s best-selling singer-songwriters.

The largest Halloween parade in the Nordics is being held for the 6th time. The parade will start and end from Kungsträdgården and the route will go through Old Town.
