Rosendal Garden Party is a truly enchanting festival that seamlessly blends music, nature, and a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. Held in the lush gardens of Rosendal Palace in Stockholm, the event feels like a well-kept secret, tucked away from the bustle of city life. As you enter the grounds, you’re greeted by large old trees casting gentle shadows across the lawns — making sure it does not feel like your avegare music festival.
The festival’s thoughtful layout enhances the experience. Artisanal food stalls serve everything from organic snacks to wines, and there is just one large stage nestled tastefully into the greenery, creating a harmonious balance between nature and performance. Even at its busiest, there’s still a sense of calm. It’s less about the spectacle and more about the feeling — the kind of festival that lingers with you long after you’ve left.
As usual, the 2025 line-up includes three days with distinct styles and vibes, so festival-goers can pick just one day with their type of acts, or do all three and get a great variety.

Friday, June 13: The first day offers a rare performance by electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk, celebrating the 50th anniversary of their seminal album Autobahn. Joining them is French producer Gesaffelstein, as well as Ireland’s Róisín Murphy bringing her fearless blend of art-pop. Sweden’s own Stella Explorer offers ambient pop infused with dark rhythms and electronic textures.
Saturday, June 14: Swedish singer-songwriter Lars Winnerbäck headlines with his only concert of the year. He is joined by Anna Ternheim, who recently released her first album in Swedish, and Norway’s Valkyrien Allstars, known for their electrifying fusion of indie and folk music.
Sunday, June 15: The festival concludes with the legendary Chaka Khan, whose five-decade career spans funk, R&B, and pop. Dancehall superstar Sean Paul is set to energize the crowd with his timeless hits, and rising soul sensation Jalen Ngonda brings his Motown-inspired grooves to the stage.
This year they have also added a Norrscen section arranged at the Norrsken House, on Friday, June 13, where Vaz and Familjen will be playing live. This part of the festival is free, but you should sign up for it. Read more on the rest of the programme and sign up here.
There are still a limited number of tickets available, so make sure you get in on the vibe!
