Damien Jurado @ Sodra Teatern – Kr 195.

An acoustic performance for this unmissable concert by the Seattle based singer and songwriter.

Kim Cesarion @ Debaser Medis – Kr 150.

Pop night with new Swedish star Kim Cesarion.

 

Sat. 07/12

Kurt Vile & The Violators + True Widow @ Debaser MedisSold out.

Philadelphia based singer/songwriter Kurt Vile accompanied by his backing band, The Violators. The night will be opened by True Widow’s melodic lo-fi grunge.

Summer Camp @ Debaser Medis (Ballroom – 3rd floor) – Kr 140.

Perfect soundtrack for your snowy Saturday night, Summer Camp will warm you up with their lo-fi synth-pop songs!

Small and intimate scene for an intense concert by San Francisco based  folk and country singer and song writer.

 

Mon. 09/12

Dark Tranquillity + DarkaneDebaser Medis – Kr 240.

A high voltage Monday night with two Swedish metal bands.

Leja @ Lilla Hotellbaren Free entry.

Musical project by Stockholm based Russian pianist and singer Jane Levkovskaya. Inspired by Ani Difranco and Tori Amos, her songs have a melodic appeal fused with some jazz elements.

Cut Copy @ Sodra Teatern – Kr 320.

After having  blessed us with an unedited version of Alexander Skarsgård in their  Free your mind video, Australian duo Cut Copy will entertain us with a brilliant show.

 

Wed. 11/12

Release Party: Anja Bigrell @ Debaser Medis – Free entry.

Former member of the pop-feminist duo Montys Loco, Anja Bigrell will celebrate the release of her debut solo album.

Fatboy @ Sodra Teatern – Kr 245.

Started as a hobby band, Fatboy is one of the finest Swedish rockabilly act.

Horrible Houses @ Lilla Hotellbaren –  Free entry.

Swedish act influenced by the lo-fi U.S. West Coast music scene.

Thur. 12/12

Sparks @ Sodra Teatern –  Kr 400.

For this performance, the American band will reinterpret and remodel songs from their extensive oeuvre – with only keyboards and vocals.

Ossler @ Sodra Teatern –  Kr 195.

One of the most carismatic Swedish singers, Pelle Ossler, will perform pieces  from his repertoire as from his latest album.

The Sounds @ Berns – Kr 295.

Swedish indie rock band popular for their energetic live shows.

Makthaverskan + The Sun Days @ Debaser Medis – Free entry till 9m, after Kr 120.

Gothenburgian indie-pop night at debaser, with these two young acts that combine post-punk with melodies from the 80s.

 

Sat. 14/12

French Films @ Debaser Strand – Free entry before 9pm, after kr 120.

Indie-pop night with the Finnish band French Films. Their music will capture in a warm and dreamy atmosphere.

Jakob Hellman @ Debaser Medis, Kr 175.

Backed by Stockholm Strings, This is the only gig for the year by the Swedish singer and song writer.

Föllakzoid @ Lilla Hotellbaren – Free entry.

Psychedelic band from Chile.

 

Mon. 16/12

Ida RedigLilla Hotellbaren – Free entry.

Differing from her previous release, Ida Redig will perform mostly extracts from her new album, out in March 2014.

 

Tue. 17/12

Mats Äleklint Quartet @ Lilla Hotellbaren – Free entry.

Jazz night Mats Äleklint, one of Sweden’s best trombonist,  and his band.

 

Wed. 18/12

Daniel Adams-Ray @ Debaser Medis – Kr 250.

One of Sweden’s most acclaimed hip hop / pop act, Daniel Adams-Ray  is back with his new album.

Nighthawk @ Lilla Hotellbaren. Free entry.

Stockholm based duo that to date have released two EPs and, according to their website biography, two babies as well. While waiting for their full length album, have a taste of their style at this gig!

David Park Band @ Lilla Hotellbaren. Free entry.

Swedish singer and banjo player accompanied by his band.

 

Fri. 20/12

Svenska Musikklubben Julfest: Postiljonen @ Debaser Strand – Free entry till 9pm, after Kr 120.

A night to celebrate the winter holidays with Swedish synth-pop band and Postiljonen, and a secret band as guest act.

 

Sat. 21/12

The Nomads + Tiger Bell @ Debaser Strand Free entry till 9pm, after Kr 120.

Celebrate the 30th anniversary of Where The Wolf Bane Bloomes by the Nomads in a once-off live show.

Fritz Corner live Julfest presents: Tiger Lou @ Debaser Medis – free entry till 9pm, after Kr 120.

Christmas party organized by Stockholm’s best music association. The night will be open by the solo project of Swedish multi instrumentalist Rasmus Kellerman and will carry on with djs.

 

Fri. 27/12

Anna Järvinen + Skator @ Debaser Strand – Free entry till 9pm, after Kr 120.

Former member of Swedish band Granada, Scandinavian singer and songwriter Järvinen will perform pieces from her solo artist repertoire.

Sat. 28/12

Candlemass @ Debaser Medis – Kr 195.

Last concert for the year with the legendary heavy-metal Swedish band.
