Crispy leaves rustle at our feet and the first fresher winds are announcing that winter is coming soon. Life starts retracting indoors, but not only homewards… This is also a time for indoor music and film festivals, dining out at cozy restaurants or attending fairs like the Baking and Chocolate Fair. Oh yes, this is also the time we like to dress up like ghosts and pumpkins and go trick-or-treating. Let us guide you to some of this months event highlights, things to see and do in Stockholm.

Chelas – There’s a New Mexican in Town
Located at the trendy Hornstull neighbourhood of Södermalm, at Verkstadsgatan 4, you’ll find Chelas, Stockholm’s newest Mexican restaurant. Chelas opened its doors in July of 2019. The name comes from the Mexican slang word for beers and a phrase the Mexicans use when they want to socialise with friends and family: “Saca las chelas”. Literally translated it means “Bring out the beers”, but it can actually be better interpreted as “Let’s have some beers and hang out”.
The wine culture in Sweden is expanding, especially with the increase of vineyards in Skåne in the south of the country. In fact, 42% of all alcohol sales in Sweden consist of wine, and this is very different from brännvin, the traditional Swedish drink that translates as burn-wine. You can of course buy wine from the state owned Systembolaget. However, the only other place that you can buy wine and enjoy a glass is in licenced restaurants and bars that serve food. There are some great restaurants in Stockholm that unite their food and wine menu in perfect harmony, taking equal consideration to both.

Nitro Circus
Tele2 Arena, Johanneshov, SwedenNitro Circus’ biggest moments, and some of its most notorious stacks, have come from the mind of action sports icon Travis Pastrana. The Nitro Circus ringleader has an uncanny ability to encourage the best riders on the planet to go big or go home… In some cases despite their better judgment! With the all-new You Got This Tour, who knows what’s gonna happen! Watch Travis and company ramp up the shenanigans with the greatest, stupidest, funniest show in Nitro history.
“Nitro Circus is turning me loose!” Travis explains. “I’m throwing all of my best, and worst, ideas into one incredible two-hour show. Everything I’ve ever wanted to see live, we’re taking on the road. Expect bigger, brand-new ramps, even crazier stunts and so much more. It’s going to be unreal. Look out, though. There might be a few rough landings.”
Nitro Circus: You Got This Tour will feature the best athletes in FMX, BMX, Scooter and Inline, including multiple X Games medalists and several Nitro World Games champions. Travis Pastrana will both lead this all-star international roster and challenge it to push the envelope in true Nitro high-risk, high-reward fashion. With all this plus a slew of new outrageous contraptions and more, You Got This is the Nitro Circus show you’ve been waiting for.
Also new for You Got This is the Nitro Club experience. In addition to getting premiere seats, Nitro Club pass holders will have the opportunity to meet some of the athletes during an autograph signing session and afterwards have the chance to watch pre-show riding practice — hosted by Travis Pastrana. Nitro Club pass holders will also receive a souvenir laminate as well as a chance to win cool Nitro Circus swag.
