Nytorget Festival
Nytorget 6, 116 40 Stockholm, Sweden17 -19 August is the time for Södermalm’s biggest folk party:
-Nytorgsfesten-A three day festival filled with spectacles and noise in the heart of Söder.
There will be carnival trains, live music, DJs, market streets, fun fair, food trucks, flea market, art shows, midnight race and more.Nytorgfesten is a festival for the whole family and with free entrance in all areas and all days. Activity and game schedule is announced on a regular basis.
In mid-August, in connection with the midnight race, the Södermalm Music Association organizes Nytorgsfesten 2018.
The Nytorg festival was organized for the first time 1995 – 1997 at Nytorget with over 25,000 visitors , it then moved to Riddarholmen 2001 – 2004 and then Skeppsholmen 2011.
And now it’s back at Nytorget and this year the festival has expanded its area to Parkteatern in Vitabergsparken and Blecktornsparken. Everywhere you will be delighted to music, food experiences, flea market, art, yoga, fun fair and more.
New for this year is also the collaboration with the immeasurably popular photography exhibition, Planket STHLM

Thirty Seconds To Mars @ Grönan Live!
Lilla Allmänna Gränd 9, 115 21 Stockholm, SwedenEverybody was completely euphoric about their gig in 2013. But they are also one of the world’s best live bands. Now the latest single “Walk on Water” has been released, and on August 20, we will once again be able to reach some kind of concert experience when the Thirty Seconds To Mars once again sets itself on Stora Scenen.
You can not buy a ticket for a specific concert without buying an entrance to the park, or the Gröna Card which gives you free entrance throughout the season. Please note that pre-purchased tickets do not provide a guaranteed place so we recommend that you arrive in the park in good time.
Tickets online are only sold via Gröna Lund. In Stockholm, you can buy the Gröna Card at Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven. You can not buy a ticket for a specific concert without buying an entrance to the park, or the Grona Card.

Outdoor cinema with Bergman's immortal classic in the film city
Greta Garbos väg 3, 169 40 Solna, SwedenSolna City and the Filmstadens Kultur Foundation invite you to an outdoor cinema night in the Film City.
Bring the picnic basket – and the chess board – and see Bergman’s immortal classic under the sky in Filmstaden.
This year, it is 100 years since Bergman was born, and of course you can celebrate it in the Film City – this was where Bergman made most of his films. The seventh seal of 1957, where Max von Sow’s Knight challenges Death (Bengt Ekerot) at bay, is regarded as one of the masterpieces of film history.
Be sure to experience the film in the film city – the place where it was mostly recorded.
Before the show starts, Filmstadens Kultur will hand for the sixth in a row a scholarships to a film maker who has not yet been film-muted.
