Olga Myko brings her raw talent to the front

We got to see Olga Myko play live in the cellar of the Snövit restaurant, and it felt like a little bit of a clandestine encounter for the select few who knew about it and managed to score a ticket.

Swedish-Ukrainian Olga Sundin has been penning hits for other artists before, often together with her bestie Fanny Avonne, as we mentioned in a recent write-up on her. Read it here.

Among other things, the duo have been responsible for Molly Sanden‘s summer hit of 2024 – Slutet av sommarn, as well as Tjuvjakt‘s even bigger summer hit of 2025, Tusen spänn (featuring Fanny Avonne on vocals as well). Olga has also written for the K-pop scene, including acts like IVE and aespa.

She kicked off her own artist project as Olga Myko about a year ago in 2025. She went on very quickly to gain viral success on TikTok with her single use me!!!!!!! off of her debut EP When a Girl Cries. The viral fame has also translated to streaming numbers of more than 42 million on Spotify so far (if you’d like to put that figure into perspective, consider that huge summer hit Tusen spänn having 36 million streams).

Olga’s recent release Who’s That Calling is also on a similar trajectory to becoming a hit, with more than 10 million streams already.

Olga’s very personal and somewhat dark-themed electronic pop has also received plenty of critical acclaim as well as a Grammis nomination for Best Alternative Pop. And that is on top of her songwriter nominations for Tusen spänn, which was up for a P3 Guld award and also gets a Grammis nod in the Song of the Year category. (The Grammis gala will be held on the 29th April).

Her concert at Snövit felt like it can very well be one of those times you get bragging rights for, you know those ones you get to say “I was there” about, when the artist has gone and made it big.
