    It is that time of the year again, to welcome back the Stockholm International Film Festival. This year the festival can finally welcome people in cinemas and it will be premiering 100 films from 48 countries in both cinemas and digitally on Festival on Demand. The festival takes place November 10-21 and opens with Parallel Mothers by the legendary director Pedro Almodóvar.

    Meditation and tour at the Moderna Museet

    Join a tour with the spiritual and existential in art in focus.

    Participate in a tour with meditation after opening hours when peace has settled in the museum. Together with art educator Jessica Eldenstjärna, you’ll explore different artists’ ways of approaching and expressing the spiritual or dimensions beyond our ordinary reality. Turning our attention inward in a guided meditation. It will be an encounter with art based on the presence of all your senses.
    You’ll see a selection of works of art with a different focus on each occasion. These become the starting point for contemplation and reflective conversations in connection with the tour.

    Thursday 28 October:
    The need for deep roots – a roaring world.
    With works by: Hilma af Klint, Britta Marakatt-Labba, Klara Lidén.

    Thursday 11 November:
    Through the mirror glass – fears and the purity of the soul.
    With works by: Hilma af Klint, Yayoi Kusama, Sigurdur Gudmundsson.

    Thursday 2 December:
    Paradoxes and combinations – riddles that open.
    With works by: Hilma af Klint, Marcel Duchamp, Robert Rauschenberg.

    Thursday 16 December:
    Dualism in transcendence – multidimensional liberation.
    With works by Hilma af Klint, Kazimir Malevich and Alexandr Rodchenko.

    Time: 18–20

    Note! Collection in the foyer at 17.50 when the museum closes at 18.

    Registration information
    The number of places is limited. Any remaining seats are sold before the exhibition at the museum’s entrance. No previous knowledge required. Meditation pillows are available to borrow.

    Boris Brejcha & F Serious Label Night

    Boris Brejcha, one of the world’s foremost electronic producers and artists. He has headlined festivals like Tomorrowland and Ultra Festival and now he’s coming to Annexet for a unique label party and with a grand lavish light and sound production.

    With him are Deniz Bul, Ann Clue and TheyDream so expect an evening of epic progressive house, pushy minimal tech and heavy house from start to finish.
