Seafood, fireworks & dancing with the best view in town

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Södra Teatern with an exclusive seafood bonanza, flowing champagne and a sensational countdown to midnight at one of their terraces – and the best view in Stockholm.

Start off the evening with a spectacular dinner, surrounded by friends and loved ones. The restaurant Mosebacke Etablissement serves a impressive buffet including half a lobster per person, shrimp, oysters, canapes and sweets.

Continue the celebration at their clubs, enjoy the fireworks at midnight from any of their terraces and party on. The festivities will not end until 4 o’clock.

New Year’s Eve should be unique from all other nights, a night to remember. Café Opera is offering an extra luxurious New Year’s dinner and afterparty under chrystal chandelier in their sumptuous hall.

3 course New Year’s Eve dinner available from 995 SEK, incl. a glass of champagne and canapés.

One glass of champagne with a canapée to start with.

Lobster bisque with a lobster medallion and brunoise of carrots and celeriac.

Tournedos Rossini – Fillet of beef, foie gras and truffle jus.

Glace au four with cloudberries and vanilla.

The one place in town that offers the most traditional and the most Swedish way to start off the New Year is Skansen, Sweden’s biggest and oldest open-air museum.
They offer music and entertainment on the Solliden stage where the classic Lord Tennyson poem “Ring out wild bells” is recited (in Swedish) every year at midnight to a large audience (not just on location, but broadcast live on TV) and the biggest display of fireworks happens here with an astounding view of Stockholm as the background.
Their bars offer the best seats and champagne to toast the New Year.
You can also book a table at The Solliden restaurant that has a special New Year’s menu. Their café Skansen Terrassen is also open between 20.00 – 01-00.
