When the band was formed in the mid 80s out of the punk era, no one could have imagine that now, thirty years later, they would be accounted as one of the most important acts of the late 20th century. Without Pixies no Nirvana, no Blur, no Weezer, maybe not even a Radiohead. What a sad world we would have lived in. Now the band is getting ready to release their seventh full-length album.

Imagine how you would react if your dad wrote an erotic novel. Many would had probably stopped their heads in the sand and never ever utter a word about it. Jamie Morton did the opposite and started a podcast instead. With him on this embarrassing journey, he has his best friends James Cooper and Alice Levine. For all of us who are not in the same situation as Jamie, it is hysterically fun to listen to how they go through chapter by chapter and break down daddy Rocky Flintstone’s (which of course is a pseudonym) work to understand how he could imagine it was a good idea to write the book “Belinda Blinked”.
