A three day music and folk party in the heart of Södermalm. Offering all guests to a maximum experience of music, art, colours, food joy, service and quality. Nytorgsfesten is a festival for the whole family and with free entrance in all areas every day.

In mid-August in connection with the midnight race, Södermalm Music Association organizes Nytorgsfesten 2017.

The Nytorgsfesten was organized for the first time 1995 – 1997 at Nytorget with over 25,000 visitors. Then wit was moved to Riddarholmen 2001 – 2004 thereafter to Skeppsholmen 2011.

This year it returns to Nytorget and have extended the festival area to nearby streets where there will be offered music, food experiences, flea market, art, yoga in the park, fun fair, and more.
