Rix FM Festival 2024 once again made its Stockholm stop during the Culture Festival, which meant they could pack a huge crowd at Gustav Adolfs Torg in front of the Opera House, with views towards the Royal Castle and the Parliament House.
The line-up was once again pretty impressive, including our long-time favorite Dotter as well as fan favorites like Molly Sandén, Marcus & Martinus, Medina and Newkid. Sophie and the Giants joined all the way from England.
Here are our pictures of all the artists at Rix FM Festival Stockholm, in the order of appearance.

Ukrainian Melodifestivalen darling Maria Sur demonstrated her vocal prowess and contagious stage personality. Beside her Mello hits she also played her powerful rendition of Survivor by Destiny’s Child.

Laurell Barker has more credentials as a song-writer, but she participated in Mello 2023 as an artist with her Sober. At RIX FM she performed with the German DJ duo YouNotUs.

Sophie and the Giants came all the way from England to perform on the Rix FM stage. She’s had a bit of a radio hit in Sweden with her Shut Up and Dance.

Louise Lennartsson makes up Estraden with Carl Silvergran and Felix Flygare Floderer, but in live settings like this it is usually Lollo herself. Watch out for her at this autumn’s Så Mycket Bättre!

As you may have figured out already, Dotter is a big favorite of ours here at Your Living City, so it was a treat catching her on the huge Rix FM stage this year. She of course got to do her Mello favorites as well as her latest country-tinged We’re In This Together.

Sami and Ali of Medina are known to be crowd-pleasers wherever they go, and this was no exception, the audience was singing along to all of their anthemic pop hits.

The other duo of the evening, Norwegian twins Marcus & Martinus, caused quite a bit of chaos in the front-row, where girls were crying and fainting to the left and right. The fandom is clearly devoted, and had waited for many long hours for those prime spots at the barricade. Fresh off of their Eurovision Song Contest participation for Sweden, the boys of course ended their performance with Unforgettable.

Swedish-Filipino pop star Newkid AKA Jhun Alexander Ferrer brought his immaculate live energy to the stage at Rix FM Festival.

The headliner of the evening, if there was one, was certainly Molly Sandén, who ended the show with her powerhouse vocals and strong stage presence. She’s had the hit of the Swedish summer with Slutet på sommaren, which is sure to stay on summer playlists for years to come.
