ALMA has been Finland’s most notable pop export in recent years, also lending her song-writing skills to the likes of Miley Cyrus and cooperating with pop royalty like Charli XCX and Sweden’s own Tove Lo.
So when ALMA was in town for the last show of her European tour, we really wanted to be there to enjoy the great live energy and excellent pop tunes. ALMA played plenty of old favorites that got the crowd going pretty wild. She also fit in some as yet unreleased material, which felt very personal and direct. Some of the highlights also included her three latest singles, Everything Beautiful, Summer Really Hurt Us and I Forgive Me, which are all excellent examples of pop songcrafting. So do have a listen, if you haven’t already.
The number of Swedish pop artists in attendance was pretty impressive, since obviously those who know, know. ALMA has also been working with a lot of Swedish songwriters recently, and spending plenty of time in Stockholm. So here’s hoping we’ll see her here again soon.
