Some of our favorite Swedish artists have great new music videos out, so here are the ones you absolutely shouldn’t miss from July’s crop of music videos!
Skott brings us dreamy under-water sequences that go amazingly together with her hauntingly beautiful song Mermaid. Skott is getting a lot of critical acclaim and hype right now, and she was also nominated in the Denniz Pop Awards as Rookie Artist of the Year. Look out for more great things from her – and catch her at the Popaganda festival in Stockholm on 2nd September.
Smith & Thell: Toast
One of many excellent tracks from our favorite folk-pop duo Smith & Thell‘s debut album Soulprints is getting great visuals. So let’s toast for all the bad times and broken hearts together with them…
Beatrice Eli: Careful
Beatrice Eli has recently returned with the release of Careful and now the tune gets a video taking you back to the 80s/90s aesthetic as it’s all filmed in grainy VHS.
Nano: Hold on
Nano‘s Melodifestivalen hit Hold On finally gets the music video it deserves (and an international release). What makes it extra interesting is that the video was produced by none other than Prince Michael Jackson. The video’s theme is perseverence and winning over difficulties.
