Allsång på Skansen with Scarlet and other favorites

You know the drill by now, Tuesday nights in the summertime mean one thing and one thing only: Allsång på Skansen, or as Pernilla Wahlgren herself (or more likely her genius scriptwriter Edward af Sillén) put it: the longest TV tradition in Sweden, with the shortest TV host.

The live-sent TV show once again brought a number of popular artists on stage, including Scarlet, Anis Don Demina and Tjuvjakt with their special guests Fanny Avonne and Estraden.

We of course had our photographer Jytte Lindberg on the press stands, so here is a photo report for you.

Pernilla Wahlgren, the hostess with the mostest in front of the standing-room crowd. The most dedicated fans come hours beforehand to secure the best spots.

Tjuvjakt kicked off the evening’s proceedings with their number one hit Tusen spänn.

They brought along Fanny Avonne, who features on the song, AND they had the legendary Janne Schaffer on the guitar.
(If you know, you know: in another life, we at YLC did Fanny’s first ever artist interview when she was 14.)

Anis Don Demina and Behrouz “Berra” Badreh led the audience in a sing-along of En kväll i juni, a Lasse Berghagen classic.

Viktor Norén and Linus Wahlgren (Pernilla’s brother) gave a taster of their upcoming concert hall tour featuring musical songs: Våra liv, våra musikaler.

Donnez brought the dansband vibe to the Skansen stage with their song DNA.

Melodifestivalen favorites Scarlet made their Allsången debut and brought the Boom-Boom Pow-Pow Karate with a live rendition of their Sweet ‘n Psycho.

Scarlet told us beforehand they would be doing a sing-along song with a high tempo and energy, and something that the audience knows well. So it turned out to be Det gör ont, Lena Philipsson‘s Eurovision classic.

Pernilla did a sketch with numerous classic Swedish songs, playing on a triangle drama with Ola Forssmed and Hanna Hedlund.

Fanny Avonne and Estraden, along with Tjuvjakt, did Min piraya Maja as their sing-along song, and of course again with original member of the Electric Banana Band, Janne Schaffer on guitar duties.

Anis Don Demina returned to perform his new song Ramlar.

Tjuvjakt featuring Estraden (aka Louise Lennartsson) finished the evening’s show with their song Bara vi, bara jag, bara du.
