On April 16, Stockholm's film festival Junior will come alive again. Over 36 children- and youth films from 31 countries are featured in cinemas all over Stockholm
The festival's goal is to show quality film from around the world, movies that rarely reach the usual biorepertoire, homes or schools. The views are varied with their own film making, discussion and backgrounds to bring back to the classroom. In addition, the festival is visited by a number of international filmmakers coming to Stockholm to meet the audience and answer questions. Film shows are free for all children, young people, teachers and members of the Stockholm Film Festival.
The festival week takes place in six fast-paced festival days, 16-21 April. Starting with the opening of the festival and ending with the award ceremony and gala at the cinema Skandia!
