A Red Carpet screening is a gala screening of the festival's biggest films. 30 minutes before the show, there is a mingling in Skandia's foyer where drinks and snacks are offered. A Red Carpet show often has visits from filmmakers or actors for a subsequent Face2Face. All members have the opportunity to buy a ticket to the gala screenings.

With Skolbio, the Stockholm Film Festival guards the film and the cinema as a cultural form and platform for discussions. Film is a tool well worth using in school to discuss our existence and different types of power structures. Through a special offer aimed at school classes from year 9 and high school, the festival offers all school students from 15 years and up to watch brand new film from around the world during the festival at a very favorable price. This also includes an annual card for the festival. Accompanying teachers have free admission.
