A royal music fireworks at a royal courtyard!
One hundred and fifty-fifth instruments in a music of fireworks with rockets, fountains and Roman lights - what Händel offered his London public in 1749 and Rio during the Olympics 2016, is offered by KTH to Stockholm every year since 2005. The Royal Pyrotechnic College's courtyard is the given place - here they study music acoustics (Professor Sten Ternström is the presenter of the evening), in rockets and space technology (Professor Christer Fuglesang), they have their own symphony orchestra and they share their campus with the Opera School.
KTH has been on Stockholm's cultural map for a long time. For a hundred years, the college has lived up to its proud motto - Science and Art - and during this night Pauliina Sairan's soprano voice and Louis Wallmark Ryberg's baritone from the Opera Academy will show how willing science and art are united. This year will see a mixed choir with the Royal Technology Choir in Georg Friedrich Händel's famous Hallelujakör of the Messiah.

Five orchestras will merge into the concert's spectacular final number.
In the Fireworks Orchestra 2017, blowers, percussionists, double bassists from
