A recruiter talks about opportunities for foreign professionals in Sweden

Marianne Nilsson, Co-founder and Recruitment Manager at Incluso, speaks about the opportunities for those who want to integrate in the Swedish labour market.

The majority of Swedish people support the country’s immigration policy. The idea of moving to Sweden and developing a career seems promising in the beginning, but after facing the reality, things seem harder to accomplish without help. Companies who focus on the individuals make things easier, especially for those who have an academic background. Incluso is a recruiting company that has seen the potential and invested their time in helping professional immigrants integrate and find jobs in their own professions. With an open-minded view, Incluso sees the international talents as a good opportunity for Sweden, where both sides benefit from each other.

What is Incluso and why was this company created?

Incluso is a recruitment and staffing company that helps foreign professionals in Sweden to integrate within the Swedish job market. We recruit both for regular and internship positions. We created Incluso because we saw a need for international talents to be presented and matched with Swedish employers’ needs, it is really difficult to find your way into a qualified position within your industry when you are new in Sweden. We want to connect with as many international talents as possible in order to be able to match them with possible openings on the Swedish and Scandinavian markets. We believe that the bigger pool we can gather, the more impact we can have on employers and decision makers in order to change attitudes and make Scandinavian employers more open-minded.

How do you, as a recruitment manager see the markets developing?

Organizations become more and more aware of the importance of diversity and inclusion on both strategic and operational levels. There is also an increasing number of companies interested in a staffing solution, as an alternative for internships or direct employment.
