Clubbing al Fresco in Stockholm – UPDATED

Summer in Stockholm means long, balmy evenings when the light seems never to disappear completely and the heat lingers in the city. What better way to spend these nights than with a drink or three under the stars?

 

Mosebacke/Etablissemanget

Södra Kök&Bar och Etablissemanget host a variety of clubs and live music events. In the summer time they open up their terrace and the champagne bar on the 7th floor, which has one of Stockholm’s most breathtaking views.

Trädgården

In the park under the Skanstullsbron bridge, close to the outdoor swimming pools of Eriksdalsbadet, you’ll find THE club, restaurant and bar for Södermalm’s hipsters, Trädgården, i.e. “The Garden”.

Where: Hammarby Slussväg 2, Södermalm
When: Open Sunday-Monday until 01:00, Tuesday-Saturday until 03:00.

From free to 165 SEK depending on day and event.

 

Stockholm Under Stjärnorna

Two vibrant rooftop parks located 50 meters above the streets of central Stockholm, these twin terraces make the perfect setting for a dinner, cocktails, clubbing and taking in the Stockholm skyline.

When: Open Monday-Saturday until 12:00, Sundays to 20:00

Lydmar Music

Lydmar Hotel presents Lydmar Music. Open every day all summer. This means exciting live music, great outdoor dining, Stockholm’s best DJs and the city’s finest views over the water towards Gamla Stan and the royal castle.

f12-terassen

F12 Terrassen

The terrace above the Michelin restaurant F12 hosts some of the city’s most popular clubs. Open seven days a week.

Where: Fredsgatan 12, Norrmalm.
When: Open Monday-Thursday until 03:00, Friday-Sunday until 05:00
Damage:
Monday-Thursday until 22:00-23:00 75 SEK, then 125 SEK. Friday-Saturday until 22:00-23:00 100 SEK, then 200 SEK. Sunday 120 SEK.

 

Slakthuset

Slakthuset is a nightclub situated in an old slaughterhouse in Stockholm’s meatpacking district with a 600 m2 outdoor rooftop open in the summer. They offer different events and nights with the best in electronic music from techno to trance, from funk to deep-house and disco, you name it, they also have special promotions and grill parties, so check their Facebook to see what to expect upon your visit.

When: Tuesday-Wednesday 17:00-2:00, Thursday-Friday 16:00-3:00, Saturday 15:00-3:00, Sunday 16:00-1:00.

Gården

Wanting to work as a “living-room”  for the entire city,  Gården has popped up on the Norra Latin yard. And the largest outdoor restaurant and bar in Stockholm is open all summer long!

Eken Bar

For those who appreciate good food, good service and amazing views over the water and Stockholm’s Old Town. Eken Bar serves internationally inspired dishes with a focus on Scandinavian touch.

When: Open Sunday-Thursday until 24:00, Friday-Saturday until 01:00

Orangeriet

A lush green oasis where the boundary between outdoors and indoors is blurred. Here you and your friends can meet up for a drink before dinner at the Trattorian. Or stay on the comfortable sofas and try one of their share platters with a glass of wine, or a couple of snacks from the bar menu along with a refreshing drink from the well-stocked cocktail bar.

Where: Norr Mälarstrand Kajplats 464, Kungsholmen.
When: Open Monday- Tuesday until 23:00, Wednesday-Saturday until 01:00, Sunday until 22:00
