Tiny Tempo – a documentary festival for the younger public

Tiny Tempo - a documentary festival for the younger public Kids Cup i regi av Line Hatland, Norge.

Tiny Tempo, a youth and children’s documentary festival, will premiere in September. The festival takes place 15 – 19 September and offers both school screenings and public screenings at the cinemas Zita and Skärisbiografen.

The festival is organised by Tempo Documentary Festival, which earlier this year arranged its 22nd edition for audiences over 15 years. The hope is that Tiny Tempo will also be a recurring event, a festival for the younger part of the audience.

“Today, the young audience creates and consumes documentary content, especially for the digital screens, and we want to offer the creative documentary a place within that target group” says Lisa Taube, festival director.

This year’s program consists of both new titles and classics in long and short formats and is aimed primarily at an audience in middle and high school ages. The screenings will take place at cinemas, adapted to current restrictions.

The program will be released on August 19 at tempofestival.se/tinytempo

The festival is organised with the support of the City of Stockholm and the Stockholm Region. Public screenings will take place between September 17-19.
