Creative Brick Zone is a meeting place for children of all ages to play, build and learn with LEGO®. We offer birthday parties, LEGO Education Classes, family game nights, and drop-in to the Brick Zone to build to your heart’s content.

Simple Machines with Duplo Mechanics (Ages 4-6) Through building spinning tops, seesaws or a car launcher the children explore basic mechanical principles such as gears, levers, friction and inclined planes. They get a new perspective and insight into designing mechanical structures and testing their stability.
Class given on THURSDAYS 16:00 to 17:00
Play football and Build Amazing Mechanism with WeDo (ages 7-9) Highlights are to create and program a working model of a goalie or a spinner to respond to external stimuli with the use of sensors. This is an intro to robotics and allows the children to explore their creativity by building the models and use simple programming to interact with the models and observe their actions.
Classes given on WEDNESDAYS 17:00 to 18:00 and SUNDAYS 16:00 to 17:00
Motorized machines and Energy in Machines (ages 8-11) Building and exploring real life machines and mechanisms. Experimenting with forces and motion with the construction of a hammer, fishing rod and reel or a soapbox car enables these concepts to become real.
Class given on THURSDAYS 17:00 to 18:00
Intro to Mindstorms (ages 10-12) Build different robots and get a good command of the basics of Mindstorms robotic techniques. Be creative and have a snowmobile race, build a mouse trap, and drive a dog sled team to test and build on your knowledge. You’ll be amazed at all you can do with Mindstorms.
Class given on WEDNESDAYS 18:00 to 19:00
Times: Each class is one hour in length every week for 6 weeks. (weeks 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 and 50.) Classes are given in English and Swedish.
Register for class by sending an email to [email protected] with the name of the class, day and time that it is given along with your child’s name and age. You will receive an email in return confirming availability and then payment in full is to be made before the class starts to reserve your child’s place in the class. There is a limit of 10 children per class.
Cost for the 6 week class is 960 kr.
*******If you are a group of 8 children or more we can start a class with a day and time that suits you.
Siblings to class participants can play in the Brick Zone during class time for just 30 kr. each. Parents can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in our café.
