Japanese-British pop powerhouse Rina Sawayama brought her Hold the Girl tour to Stockholm and Berns. The energy at the venue was through the roof from the start, as she came on with the title track of the tour.
She soon made it clear that she would take the audience on a genre-bending journey, as her stage energy went from the pop bangers via punk rock and industrial metal influences to country music, leaving the dancefloor fillers to the end of the set.
Rina’s stage presence was electric whether in rockstar mode, doing campy pop or pouring her heart out in the more emotional stories she told. And the fans reflected her energy right back, singing along to the hits, dancing to their heart’s content or throwing the heavy metal horns in the air.
Here are some of our favorite pictures from the show.
