AIK Innebandy Summer Camp

Develop your innebandy skills individually whilst making new friends! You will be trained by experienced instructors, using training content based on the AIK Talent Development Model in order to make your week as rewarding as possible. We hope to work with you to experience an unforgettable summer weeks filled with rewarding innebandy, joy and companionship!

Ballet and Opera Camps at Kungliga Operan

Unga på Operan offers you an exciting opportunity to learn about the Opera House and the opera or ballet. During the opera camp, Födelsedagskalaset (The Birthday Party) ,we pay tribute to two 200-year-olds, Giuseppe Verdi and Richard Wagner with a sonorous celebration. At the ballet camp you get to know dances from the Royal Ballet repertoire. On the last day, family and friends are invited to see what we have been working on during the week.

Opera Camp: Monday 17th June to Thursday 20th June from 09:00 to 13:30 (ends at 15:00 on the last day)

Opera Camp: Tuesday 30th July to Friday 2nd August from 09:00 to 13:30 (ends at 15:00 on the last day)

Athletics Camp at Hammarby IF Friidrott

At Friidrottsskolan, the children try on all the different athletics disciplines in playful ways. They get to know new friends and they are led by competent and committed leaders. On the last day, a popular variety of physical activities where children can try out both regular and unusual branches of athletics.

The price includes (in addition to fantastic training and anenthusiastic leader): cooked lunch, snack, t-shirt, backpack, water bottle, a diploma and a medal!

Stockholm Music & Summer Week

Do you love music, dancing or theatre? Then the Stockholm Music & Summer Week is a good choice for you during the summer holidays. You get the chance to take private lessons in the instrument you have chosen for the week, playing in an ensemble, chorus, dance, theater and take part in exciting workshops, visits and much more!

Intensive Swimming Course at Kungsholmen and Lidingö

Mona’s Intensive Swimming school is held five days a week (Monday to Friday) over the summer. You can choose to join one or several weeks. Classes are for all levels. Lunch and snacks are included and leaders and babysitters are always present.

When: Weeks 24 to 33. 30 minutes lesson daily.

Climbing Camp

During the summer camp, you will be both indoors at Klättercentret in Solna or Telefonplan, but will also make excursions into the open for swimming and cooking food over an open fire when the weather is in our favour (we arrange transportation for the excursions). Monday and Tuesday we are indoors and outdoors on Wednesday (weather-dependent). Every day we serve a good lunch and snack. There are beginners, continued and advanced courses available.

When: Weeks 25 to 33 from 10:00 to 16:00

4H Farm in Akalla

A day-camp for children who love animals! Aside from pony rides and crafts, the main point is to learn animal husbandry whilst having fun. There is the Mini Camp for 4-6 year olds, where we take care of the farm animals, go for horse & carriage rides, pick eggs and bake with them. Then there is the 7-18 year olds camp, where we do all of the above at a more advanced level and also make trips outside. Finally, there is the horse camp: during the five days, we take care of the horses and the kids get to try riding, driving, vaulting (gymnastics on horseback), go on excursions and learn more about the horse and its upkeep.

Boulevard Theatre Summer Camp

We will first cover some groundwork through acting exercises, improvisation exercises and short scene representations. You may also try the collaborative exercises, relaxation, voice and movement exercises. Then we will play the scenes or maybe a short play. Each team consists of a maximum of 12 students. Week ends with an unpretentious play for family and friends. All students bring their own packed lunch (microwave available) and we offer snacks and refreshments!

When: Week 25, 26 or 33 from 09:00 to 15:00

Lego Day Camps in Swedish or English

Lego day camps offer children the opportunity to focus on a theme and being able to play, build and learn with various LEGO Education sets, such as We-Do, machinery and mechanics, pneumatics, renewable energy and Mindstorms. You can register your child for one day or several days! Children bring their own lunch each day. We offer morning and afternoon refreshments. We will be outside for a while during the day on our courtyard either doing a construction activity or to eat lunch.

When: Weeks 26, 27, 31, 32 and 33 from 09:00 to 15:00

For over 40 years ,we have trained thousands of children and youth in sailing and seamanship. Sailing School is held outside the museum on Djurgårdsbrunnsviken’s safe waters, where our experienced instructors teach the sailing grounds with the help of 35 well-kept dinghies. Learn seamanship and sailing at the Maritime Museum’s popular sailing school. We have beginner and intermediate courses each course week during the summer. In order to take the course, you must be able to swim at least 100 meters.

Percussion and Drums: Slagverkskollo2013

For the sixth consecutive year we host this summer’s funniest music week, Slagverkskollo2013! During the week, we use percussion and drums all that we can and play music in various genres on instruments such as marimbas and xylophones. Every year, we usually also make a STOMP code! That is, using our own bodies or “alternative instruments” to create rhythms and music. Everything is performed in two concerts on the last day of the camp period. The result is always a great success!

When: 

Ages 9-12 years: Saturday 15th June to Wednesday 19th June from 09:00 to 15:00.

Ages 13-16: Monday 24th to Friday 28th June from 09:00 to 15:00.

Where: Kulturskolans Hus, Mariebergsgatan 34, 112 50 Stockholm

Age Group: 9-12 year olds and 13-16 year olds

    I would like to get more information about Lego Day Camps in English. We will be in Stockholm for a month and would like to get detailed information about this camp. My grand daughter is 9 years old and grandson is 6 1/2 years old. They love Legos.
