The biggest celebration for Finland's Centennial outside of Finland will be held right here in Stockholm - and eveybody's  invited to the party! Finland's 100 years of independence are celebrated in the middle of the city with a big festival in Kungsträdgården. Music, food, fashion, exhibitions and discussions with a Finnish theme will fill the park for three days.

Especially the musical artists are worth checking out, as STHLM/SUOMI brings out some of the very best Finland and Sweden-Finns have to offer right now. Be sure not to miss ALMA, who is on the brink of an international breakthough, or Krista Siegfrids, who you will already know from her Melodifestivalen entries. Then there's the world-class acapella stylings of FORK, who put their own twist on the best international pop and rock tunes. And the charming Darya & Månskensorkestern, who take you back in time with their original songs and Finnish tango classics. Oh, and all the young girls will love Finland's answer to Bieber, Isac Elliot. And there's Sweden-Finnish stars like Anna Järvinen and Iiris Viljanen. And so much more...

On the red fence, each meter will be decorated by amateur photographers and tomorrow's masters, side by side with already well-established and classic photographers.

Everything began in 1982 with the photographer Neil Goldstein inspired by outdoor exhibitions in Washington Square Park, New York. Together with Irene Berggren, Lars Hall, Bror Karlsson, Gunnar Smoliansky and Rebecka Tarschys, a tradition of outdoor exhibitions was founded on the red boards. Since then, PLANKET in Lilla Mejtens alley has been run by photographers.

Planket's initiator, Christer "Fjellis" Fjellman is now preparing PLANKET 2017 together with Lotte Johansson, Michael Pettersson, Johan Lindstén, Paul Vestergren and Anders Lönegård. A work done on an ideal basis.

An administrative fee of 100 SEK is charged by the exhibitors. Any surplus goes to ABC Charity, a fine art photo project, where children help children in different countries and 100 percent of the money goes to charity projects.

"The cube project" "Every human being can make a difference "consists of 30 black cubes in steel, one for each human right, sent to selected schools around Sweden and abroad. Through this project, schools can support working strategically to meet the school's overall Democracy and value-based assignments while encouraging students to make a difference. The project ends in Kungsträdgården where all cubes gather in a public exhibition.
