“We have just finished our 4th full-length album, Running out of Love. An album about life in Sweden in 2016 and how our society seems to be in regression on so many levels. Politically, intellectually, morally… It’s an album about all the things that are moving in the wrong direction. It’s about the impatience that turns into anger, hate and ultimately withdrawal and apathy when love for the world and our existence begins to falter.

For the third time in a row we have made two albums instead of one. After constant touring for a couple of years after our latest release, Clinging to a Scheme, we started writing and recording an album that we later decided to scrap. As some of you might be aware, we have been caught up in a lengthy legal battle with our record label and publisher. We took a pause from releasing singles and EP’s and instead spent our time hanging out with friends, working odd jobs and just loafing around. Ultimately we lost the court case but still managed to reach an agreement with the record company that gave us the motivation to create music again.

In the summer of 2014, ideas and a concept for Running out of Love started to come together and the single Death to Fascism, now too old to be included, was the first effort towards the new album. Later, more new songs started to appear. The court case is taken care of in Occupied, the Swedish weapon and arms industry in Swedish Guns and We got Game is about the proud police tradition of protecting nazis and racists, whilst at the same time using brutal violence against opposing groups of protesters.

Running out of Love has moulded itself into a rather dystopian album, mainly because it was created in a sense of deep frustration over the reactionary currents which characterize our time.”

    -- With Frederic (Lrt/Jenkins)

From deep introspective tunes to hysteric beats, but always very melodic, definitely electronic, and a bit melancholic. Sometimes taking the shape of an emotional roller-coaster with some of my favorite tracks I've been listening to again and again in the last years.

We will start by contemplative and soothing down-tempo tunes, move on towards more dance floor deep techno tracks, before closing the loop with introspective beats and melodies.

-- Key points of Free Flow:

    - Sober. Get high on life instead.
    - Dance. Challenge your movements.
    - Safe. Respect each others space and integrity this is our family ♥

(No Photos or videos on the dancefloor, to let people flow without worries)

    What’s Free Flow?
A weekly dance practice where all are students and all are teachers. Rather than learning steps, we develop our own rhythms and techniques to connect with and express ourselves.

Enter a safe and judgement free environment where, moving from a place of kindness and compassion, the only other boundaries are the ones you choose for yourself.

Come to connect, come to let out pent-up stress or emotions, or come to just be and let the music flow through.

Each session will follow a musical theme, and we welcome you to interpret that in any way, be it through movement, dress or attitude.

Free Flow is not for profit and donation-based. All proceeds go to the Node, and we encourage you to contribute to the community's self-sustainability by donating monthly at http://syntheistnode.se/

We look forward to flowing with you!

    WOLF ALICE [UK]
    Support: Albert af Ekenstam

In recent years, few bands have been felt as self-evident as Wolf Alice. With its mix of guitar-grunge and indie pop, the band has been a much needed energy player from an early sleepy music market. Wolf Alice has just released their second studio album - Visions of a Life - whose so far released singles testify to a band that has something really going on. Now Wolf Alice returns to Stockholm for a debut at Debaser Strand January 20th.

Three of the most interesting hip hop artists of the Swedish scene will perform with separate concerts at Studion. Celebrating the show Folkmusik 2.0 - Swedish hiphop remixed with thunder and broke!

    JIREEL
The young rapper from Rågsved south of Stockholm has soon exploded as one of the country's most noticed hip hop promises. Jireel debuted in November 2015 with the song "Here & Now" and has since continued with his crisp, modern style. Songs like "Like Me", "Long Guy" and Superheater "Cataleya" made 2016 to his perhaps strongest year to date. "Snap" from recently released EP 'Jettad' is already mentioned as a milestone in Swedish hiphop - and when Jireel received the great honor to finish the entire Grammis Gala 2017, we could see a taste of a brilliant live artist. Now he is on a great tour of the country! Jireel has just begun.

    Sammy & Johnny Bennett
The video and song 5DF with Sammy & Johnny Bennett struck down as a bomb on the Swedish rap scene in spring 2016. The word about the pair of parents and the TU5EN collective from Gothenburg spread like a runaway. More and more have stood in the tribute choir for their amazing flow, rhythm and attitude since the brothers' debut EP: Hundreds80 released last year.
At the Grammis Gala in 2017, Sammy & Johnny Bennett was well deserved in the category Newcomer of the Year. They are also nominated in the category "Hip Hop of the Year / RnB" on the P3 Gold Galaxy 2018 for their second EP ST.RECK released this year. Duon has this year Toured in Scandinavia with Lorentz and is currently working on his debut album. In anticipation of more details about the release of this, the audience can start by listening to the brothers' latest single Proof.

    Jelly
On the 8th Sept, JËLLY released his debut Allting / Nothing. A EP about disappointment and sadness, but also about finding back to strength again. JËLLY is the first artist on Adam Tensta's newly launched label JÄRN.

Since then, the band has released another two albums, of which the latest - Relaxer - landed in June. THE RADIO DEPT
    17 Feb - Kägelbanan
    Support: Kim Ki O
Of all bands that emerged flirting with shoegaze and dreamy pop in the 21st century, the Radio Dept. has been the most interesting. Since its inception, the band, now a duo, has created a shave and shoegaze influenced pop - always with finesse, and always on its own premises. Last fall after a period of silence, The Radio Dept. released the album "Running Out of Love" - a slight but still well-meaning depiction of our contemporary. The Radio Dept. is a modern institution, and among the finest this country has to offer in the pop-up. Now we can proudly announce that the band will make three Sweden performances - January 27th in Malmö, February 16th in Gothenburg and February 17th in Stockholm.

After a successful comeback as a live band in the summer of 2014, with a festival tour that started with Slowdive being one of the headlines of the influential Primavera Sound festival, it was always the band's ambition to come back as a band with a new album. Strengthened by the success the live band has, the focus was on capturing the unique dynamics of the band, although it is usually the band's melody champion Neal Halstead, who embodies most of the material. Now Slowdive finally returns to Swedish soil - February 22 at Kägelbanan, and February 23 at Pustervik in Gothenburg.

The album "Black Messiah" was not intended to be released then, but due to the escalating situation of police violence in the United States, D'Angelo decided to release the politically charged album as a statement about the tense situation in the country. In connection with the album release, he went out to a successful European Tour including a sold out concert in Stockholm.

Now, the American R & B legend is looking back at Scandinavia and getting ready for concerts in both Copenhagen and Stockholm! Do not miss it!

With over 20 million albums sold, platinum records, sold out tours and five Grammy Award nominations, it's easy to imagine why James Blunt's career has been a triumphal trait. But the fact is that it was about to end before it even started. After being discovered by songwriter Linda Perry at the South By Southwest show, James Blunt debuted with the single "High" and the album "Back To Bedlam" in October 2004 but these went almost unnoticed. It wasn't until the three-piece "You're Beautiful" was released just over half a year later that he had his boom.

"You're Beatiful" peaked the lists in ten countries - including Sweden, England and the United States. With the drag-and-drop, the album "Back To Bedlam" rushed up for the lists and became the best selling record in Britain in the twentieth century. Since then, the success has continued for James Blunt - every single disc he has released has sold platinum several times.

In March 2017, James Blunt released his fifth album "The Afterlove", which include collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Stephan Moccio (Miley Cyrus, The Weeknd).

Elvis, live on screen with symphony orchestra - The Wonder of You - to Stockholm 2018

Earlier in May, Sweden witnessed the "The Wonder of You" concert in Malmö for the first time. "The Wonder of You is almost like experiencing Elvis live with gospel choir and full-featured symphony orchestra" wrote the Evening Post. In June 2018, Elvis Presley ™ returns to Europe and ten new cities, including Stockholm, and even this time with the personal appearance of Priscilla Presley.
In 2015, the album "If I can dream", which sold over 1 million copies in Europe, and in November 2016 released "The Wonder of You: Elvis Presley with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra." Two albums that contain archive recordings of the King's voice and new orchestra arrangements of some of his biggest hits along with several surprises. The songs also show off the rich variation of Elvis repertoire - from rock and gospel to country and ballads.

A unique concert with an unique artist.

It was as though everyone was just waiting for Seinabo Sey to appear. As if everyone knew she was fantastic even before we had heard of her. So when she showed up we were already more than ready to wrap our hearts around her talent. Her voice was, of course, what struck us first. A voice that fills the room with warmth. But soon it became clear that the songs were just as big as that voice. "Younger" and "Hard time" were the first two songs she released, which artist can handle such a trick? Seinabo Sey of course, as the easiest thing in the world.
