Salif Keita:
Salif Keita, known as "Africa's Golden Voice", is one of the afro pop's great pioneers. He was born as a prince, related in straight descending joints with Mali's king and founder, thus prohibited by singing to sing. But he challenged the conventions and became a musician. In the 60's and 70's he was singer in the legendary bands Super Rail Band de Bamako and Les Ambassadeurs.
Salif Keita is constantly up to date and tours all over the world. He has won several awards and recently received prestigious AFRIMA Legendary Award in place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Eme Alfonso mixes in his music rhythms from Cuba with jazz and soul. Nacional Public Radio of America (NPR) called Eme Alfonso for "Cuba's new sound". She has shared a scene with artists such as Chucho Valdés, Omara Portuondo, Fito Páez, and Ray Lema. She is also a member of legendary Sinintese nominated for a Latin Grammy.
