CFF's historical photo series continues this semester with invited journalist / photographer Lars Epstein and artist Henrik Teleman talking about different forms of photography - in the past and in today's historical reality.
Epstein, passionate photo book collectors, DN photographer for 25 years and frequent blogger, explains and shows pictures from his vast collection of photography books; including police reporter Jacob Riis’s “The Camera As A Political Weapon”, which depicts the slums of lower Manhattan in New York in the late 1880s; opening the eyes of leading politicians and so leading to the area being cleaned up and decent housing built.
