The Thai festival is a summer festival where visitors can shop and taste Thai food, desserts and fruits from over 10 different restaurants, as well as enjoy a wonderful atmosphere. In addition, there will be shows and activities on stage throughout the day, such as cultural dance shows from Thailand, live music and show of thaiboxing.

    Spring's success will continue this fall! Presenting the now-legendary music collector Blacknuss in a unique concert series during five Fridays even this fall. This year it is 25 years since Blacknuss met Fasching and they want to celebrate! Under the direction of the energetic drummer and orchestra master Martin Jonsson, Blacknuss has become Sweden's response to American The Roots.

    After five sold-out evenings at Fasching in the spring, Blacknuss returns to Fasching to select his favorite poker from the African American music treasure. There will also be a lot of own material, of course, new and old. Every evening will be celebrated by a number of visiting musicians and artists.

Associations and sports federations will try out activities. Basketball, boxing, athletics, fencing, golf, handball, chess, tennis, and rowing in the pond are some examples of sports that can be tested on site.

    You are invited to the Bollywood Festival and the opening of Stockholm's Cultur Festival! Have you longed for the music, the good food, the beautifully dressed guests who traveled a long way to mingle with you in the magical atmosphere of a real Bollywod movie. Now is your chance! Direct to Stockholm Cultur Festival comes from the Mumbai musical Love Story - A Bollywood Musical. The performance is framed with a big party on the square.     During the last part of the evening, after the musical, one of India's most outstanding performances, comedian Papa CJ up will come up stage.     A three day music and folk party in the heart of Södermalm. Offering all guests to a maximum experience of music, art, colours, food joy, service and quality. Nytorgsfesten is a festival for the whole family and with free entrance in all areas every day.

    In mid-August in connection with the midnight race, Södermalm Music Association organizes Nytorgsfesten 2017.

    The Nytorgsfesten was organized for the first time 1995 - 1997 at Nytorget with over 25,000 visitors. Then wit was moved to Riddarholmen 2001 - 2004 thereafter to Skeppsholmen 2011.

    This year it returns to Nytorget and have extended the festival area to nearby streets where there will be offered music, food experiences, flea market, art, yoga in the park, fun fair, and more.

    The biggest celebration for Finland's Centennial outside of Finland will be held right here in Stockholm - and eveybody's  invited to the party! Finland's 100 years of independence are celebrated in the middle of the city with a big festival in Kungsträdgården.     Welcome to the famous Oktoberfest Stockholm – a festival of Lederhosen, beer and pop music! We celebrate with the happy mood in a tent of 2,100 people.

    Entrance is free on Thursday.On Friday and Saturday the entrance is 50kr. There will be beer, cider and food for sale.Alternatively, you can book a package with reservation including food and drink for 385-435kr. Fantastic Tyrol band and Bavarian beer, which is served by women in Dirndl and men in Lederhosen. The festival takes place in September (in Munich).

    "The cube project" "Every human being can make a difference "consists of 30 black cubes in steel, one for each human right, sent to selected schools around Sweden and abroad. Through this project, schools can support working strategically to meet the school's overall Democracy and value-based assignments while encouraging students to make a difference. The project ends in Kungsträdgården where all cubes gather in a public exhibition.

    As usual, the Popaganda festival marks the end of the summer festivals with peace and love, a laid-back athmosphere, dancing and the very best pop music. The line-up is always very up-to-date with the up’n’coming artists as well as some of the biggest Swedish stars, with a few interesting international names thrown in for good measure.

     

    LINEUP HIGHLIGHTS: Tove Lo, alt-J, Two Door Cinema Club, Säkert!, Oskar Linnros, The Radio Dept., Sabina Ddumba, Léon, Skott, Ana Diaz, Astrid S.

     

    There's also a big after party, or the Popaganda Efterfestival, at Nobelberget from 11pm to 4am on both evenings, with DJs and artists yet to be announced.

    The guys from Fagersta, considered to be one of the world's best live bands, have taken the world by storm with songs like "Hate To Say I Told You So" and "Walk Idiot Walk".
    The Hives was founded in Fagersta in 1993 and has by its attitude and music conquered the rock world. They have performed in the biggest American TV shows, won Grammis, P3 Gold, the Government Music Export Award and have been linked to both The Rolling Stones and AC / DC. This fall, the band's singer Pelle Almqvist helped to beat collection records, as one of the year's program leader for Music Assistance.
    They have not played at Grönan since 2014, but on September 8th at. At 20.00 one of the world's best rock bands, The Hives, will be on the big stage for the fifth time!

    Tickets online are only sold via Gröna Lund. In Stockholm, you can buy the Green Card at Pressbyrån and 7-Eleven. You can not buy a ticket for a specific concert without buying an entrance to the park, or the Green Card giving free entrance throughout the season. Please note that pre-purchased tickets do not provide a guaranteed location so we recommend that you arrive at the park in good time.

    This will be a new culinary event to be held in Stockholm. The food festival takes place in Kungsträdgården and in parallel with the festival, the second edition of Food Truck-championship will be taking place. It will be a full day with around 150,000 visitors, food, entertainment and a beautiful festival atmosphere. Free admission.

    Food Truck-SM (championship) will take place at. 09.00-12.00, and the festival continues until kl. 20:00.

    Texan band The Black Angels has garnished the world with its grumpy sounds since mid-2000's. With a sound half way into psych and half way in a dazzling garage, the group creates music that feels with great finesse. With fave albums released, The Black Angels can be classified as veterans in the genre. Having said that, it is also possible to say that they are also in what you could call high-grade - just listen to the latest crazy single "I'd Kill For Here".

    We now have the honor to welcome The Black Angels to Sweden for a gig at Debaser Strand in Stockholm. Count on a top class gig when this gang takes the capital on September 11th.

    Experience the success film "La La Land" like never before with a symphony orchestra!
    "La La Land" took the world by storm - now it can be experienced on a giant piece of music performed at the site of the Stockholm Concert Orchestra under the direction of Finn-American conductor Erik Ochsner.

    In early March, the film company Lionsgate announced that they are taking La La Land on a world tour with a live symphony orchestra. The premiere takes place on Memorial Day in the iconic Hollywood Bowl. The tour then continues through the United States and then to Mexico, Canada, Great Britain, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and Sweden.

    The main actors Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling danced directly into the hearts of both the public and critics in this charming and heartfelt story of love that has topped lists worldwide.

    With sacred sound images picked up by golden harmonies the Fleet Foxes played themselves into our lives during the late 00s. If it was the intertwined vocals, the subtle acoustic guitars or the songs themselves that got us to fall for them, it's hard to say - but fell in love, we did.

    After an absence from the scenes it was earlier this year that Fleet Foxes made a grand return with both the new album and a world tour to unfold this year. In June Fleet Foxes release their third studio album, "Crack-Up", which will be their first new album in six years. With the nine-minute first single "Third of May / Odaigahara" under their arms, you can also say that it may well be their best.
