    • Traditional Swedish Christmas dinner
    • Hot mulled wine as a welcome drink
    • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure*

Stromma’s Christmas is a Swedish tradition and a part of our Swedish heritage. With beautiful old renovated ships you get to enjoy good food and drink while the breathtaking archipelago in Winter clothing passes outside the window. At their Christmas tables you find traditional Swedish delicacies and their restaurateurs also give you a chance to try their own favorite Christmas dishes.

Small but cozy M/S Östanå was built in 1906 and has only room for 60 persons, which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a more intimate christmas meal, served by the table, in a genuine archipelago environment.

On M/S Gustafsberg VII there is a traditional Christmas buffet with focus on game meat and onboard M/S Prins Carl Philip there is focus on game meat and fish. For those with a sweet tooth the Christmas candy and homemade desserts on S/S Stockholm are recommended.

For the history lover they recommend the Christmas buffet on M/S Waxholm III, which is considered to be the most classic archipelago ship from the golden age of the maritime traffic in Stockholm during the beginning of the 20th Century. On board you find classics like the almost forgotten dopp i grytan, lutfisk and Ris à la Malta.

“Nothing is as you think it will be or as you remember it was.”

After two completed productions, Satans demokrati (Satan’s democracy) (2015) and Satans delirium (Satan’s delirium) (2016), the three-year art and theater project ends with the final part of Satan’s trilogy: Satans död (Satan’s death).

On November 4th – 31st December the doors to Sweden’s largest theater and art event will open again in the well-run office complex in Sickla.

Satan’s death is an audiovisual work in mega format where the audience themselves control their experience and where every stay and performance is unique.

In Satan’s death, the visitors of the house will be in a state of life and death. They are invited to reflect on the choices they have made through life, relive old forgotten memories and make new positions in anticipation of rebirth.

To date, the project has dedicated over 1,300 artists and architects, actors and craftsmen, to jointly create a production that weaves art and theater. The 3,500 square meter large scene maze has been under constant transformation over the past three years.

The premiere of the performance of Satan’s death takes place on November 4 and is played until the New Year’s Night on December 31, 2017. The house will then be demolished and leveled with the 2018 ground.

Each performance day has two runs of the show.

    A Christmas carol

    19:00 -21:00
    Hornsgatan 72, 118 21 Stockholm, Sweden
    Hornsgatan 72, 118 21 Stockholm, Sweden

The Christmas tale about Ebenezer Scrooge is one of Charles Dickens most popular stories. The action takes place in a snowy London Christmas 1843, the same year as Charles Dickens wrote the story. Ebenezer Scrooge is the greed personified. He cares little about other people, unless they can bring money of course. One night he is quenched by three spirits reminding him of all that he has not done for his fellow human beings and that no one will miss him when he is gone.

    Fleet Foxes @ Annexet

    19:30 -23:00
    Annexet, Arenatorget, Johanneshov, Sweden

With sacred sound images picked up by golden harmonies the Fleet Foxes played themselves into our lives during the late 00s. If it was the intertwined vocals, the subtle acoustic guitars or the songs themselves that got us to fall for them, it’s hard to say – but fell in love, we did.

After an absence from the scenes it was earlier this year that Fleet Foxes made a grand return with both the new album and a world tour to unfold this year. In June Fleet Foxes release their third studio album, “Crack-Up”, which will be their first new album in six years. With the nine-minute first single “Third of May / Odaigahara” under their arms, you can also say that it may well be their best.
